A Green Mushroom? Give it a guess.

I always wanted to go out and hunt for some mushrooms, because I have seen so many great photos of them. And those photos make me excited to hopefully geta nice photos of them. (not sure if I have the technique yet 🤣🤣)

Well, I was lucky to be able to get this kind of green mushroom.
Hmmm does it really a green mushroom?

Apparently, it is not. This is one of the oldest living structures on earth, way before dinosaurs or early humans roamed around the earth. This is Dumortier's liverwort (Dumortiera hirsuta) is a kind of moss that lives in wet area, like rocks, and stones, while this one I found on the wall during the rainy season. Hard to believe that this perennial, is believed to be one of only two species in its genus.. Life is so amazing, right?

So this is not a mushroom, but a moss eventough this one really look like an umbrella mushroom, but it is an umbrella moss instead.
