The underground swimming pool!

Right after swimming into the sparkling clear water of Tulang Diot Island, we headed directly to this underground swimming pool! —The Timubo Cave. This cave holds significance to the locals of barangay Sonog, San Francisco, and the neighboring barangays for it was the first cave on the island and became their source of water supply. The entrance or the cave itself is not that visible which makes it a pretty exciting yet creepy feeling. It was just the two of us so we waited for another group of tourists to arrive because we were kind of afraid to go down. Hahaha
Upon entering the cave, you’d notice the medium opening where you’d be led to the long winding staircase. If you are claustrophobic or have a heart problem or asthma, then you are not advised to enter the cave.
We just took a couple of photos inside the cave. Swam a little then went back outside. By the way, the entrance fee of the said cave is Php70. If you happen to live in the Philippines and you're planning to visit the Island, make sure to include this place in your itinerary. 😉
