Hiveautiful day hivers and liketu fam!
Allow me to share these snaps I took earlier. As I was on my way to my sister's shop, I passed by my high school's alma mater—The Abellana National School. There are a lot of vendors outside the school selling snacks and other go-to food. I didn't mind checking and buying other snacks, but instead, I patiently waited in a long queue for this famous hot cake. They became popular because they were featured in a Sugbo.ph Facebook page. If I am not mistaken, they were selling this batter bread for almost three decades I guess. I can relate to them, their hot cake is their bread and butter just like our puto maya. I do appreciate and just be proud of people like this. Working so hard to make ends meet.
All the memories of my high school life suddenly flashback in my mind while waiting for the hotcakes to be cooked. I remember how these snacks helped me and my friends filled our empty stomachs after school. This was one of our favorites!
