Buwakan ni Alejandra ft. Dance Presentation 💃
A year ago, I got the chance to showcase my dancing skills with my ex-colleagues. It was a bit extra for the place where we shoot our performance was one of the tourist destinations in Cebu—The Buwakan ni Alejandra.
Buwakan ni Alejandra is a Bisaya translation of “Alejandra’s Flower Garden”. It is located at Barangay Gaas, Balamban, Cebu. It's a 30-45 minute drive from the city. There is an entrance fee but I forgot to ask how much. It was an all-expense company trip so I didn't mind asking about the fees and all. Haha
It was my second time visiting the place and it never failed to amaze me. The scenic view is soothing to the eyes. I didn't take many photos of the whole place because we were in a rush of shooting our dance performance.
The main reason why we reached this far just to shoot our performance was that its the company’s anniversary. Our manager had this initiative of giving a major prize to whoever performs bests. We had a few practices at the office before we went to this place.
I am glad that all of them were very cooperative. I admit that there were times I got stressed out teaching with them for I was the one who choreograph the dance, but it was all worth it. Aside from being able to experience a dance presentation with my colleagues at one of the nicest places in Cebu, we also won a prize. I was also touched by my ex-colleagues heartfelt message to me when she saw the whole performance. She wasn't able to join because she was on a leave at that time. I cried after reading her text. It's flattering and a nice feeling when someone recognizes your work. 😌
Just the best experience I had with them!

Buwakan ni Alejandra, what a beautiful place, I had never heard of it, it looks like a fairy tale. Too bad you could not take many pictures because of the rush to record your dance, but the few captures that you share with us is an extraordinary place that is worth touring completely and very calmly.
Yeah, it’s a magical place indeed! ☺️
The flowers are soothing and the air is refreshing.
