WHAT HUNGER CAN DO

There was a man called Mr Monday. He woke up one early morning to go to the farm, he went to the kitchen to check for food but he didn't see any food to eat.

Mr Monday left to the farm without eating anything, he spent time in the farm with an empty stomach. Some hours later he rose up his head only for him to notice that it's almost afternoon, the hunger became serious that he could not do anything again, he had to go home.

If you have ever been faced with such hunger, you will understand better, such hunger that makes a man's body to be shaking, it's not a small thing ooh! That was the hunger that caught Mr Monday and he had no other option but to go home.

On reaching home, no one was at home he rushed to the kitchen looking for food, but there was no food. Monday looked around to see what he can eat but finds nothing. He was confused as he was moving up and down in the compound with Cutlass in his hand. Oboy! Even domestic animal picked race ooh! Looking at Monday's face at that time, even the animals knew that their lives was at risk. As Mr Monday was going around, the only thing he could see to eat is palm kernel, left with no option he just fetched some palm kernel, broke it and eat, after eating the palm kernel to his satisfaction he fetched water and drank, he then went into the house to rest.

About 30 minutes later. Monday was sitting at the dining table waiting to be served food. A woman was in the kitchen cooking a delicious soup with soft pounded yam, the aroma was flying everywhere in the house. The soup and pounded yam happened to be the best food for Mr Monday. After cooking, the woman brought the food at the dinning table, she then dished the food to Mr Monday who was very hungry and ready to eat, Mr Monday washed his hand in a haste. As he just wanted to fetch the pounded yam, his son who's name was Abel just called Monday's name and then Mr Monday woke up from sleep with this word: "Abel, why now? You could have allowed me to finish this food first" Abel then asked him which food? Daddy I'm hungry. Mr Monday then realized that he has been dreaming and then said " Ahh! Is just a dream.
