What are some of the things you are proud of about your country?

If you are a Nigerian and you are yet to be amazed by how much waves our artists are making in the music industry then you need a "Ghana-must-go" bag to move to Ghana. lol... Just kidding.

Joke aside if there is one thing that I am proud of about my country, it's surplus of talented acts that Nigerians reveal every single day. We have lots of talented artists taking the world by storm in their musical careers.

Every time, the likes of Asake, Wizkid, Burna Boy, Kiss Daniel, and Ayra Star drop new soundtracks, I am reminded that the music industry is no different from the content-creating field. My reason is that those artists know the first rule of staying relevant and that's by making sure they do not leave their audience and fans bored.

They are constantly recreating themselves, forging newer identities, commanding attention with their songs, and this strategy makes it less possible to bore their audience.

Those artists who have made a name for themselves and keep showing up with new songs understand what it means to get lost in the crowd so they thrive to not get swallowed up by the crowd. They do not want to be counted among the bland and less colorful masses.

I am particularly proud of how these artists have made Nigeria's name go far and wide. Ticktock particularly uses our soundtracks for their campaigns and I have seen people from other countries stepping up to join in those social campaigns and learn to sing our tracks.

My country and the people here are blessed with remarkable gifts and I am happy that we have those who are making great use of these talents to bring good reviews and ratings to my country.

** Do you think your country has all it takes to help you develop as a person?**

I will give a resounding yes. Those artists I mentioned above are living proof that my country has what it takes to develop someone. And if these people can do it, then the rest of us can do it too. No doubt about that.

** If you could leave to another country, would you? If yes or no, explain why?**

It depends. We never truly know where our fortunes lie. So I can't say for a fact if I would leave or not. Depending on what the situation around me is when the opportunity shows up, I would either take it or leave it. The simple truth is that there is no place like home but if by leaving home one will be able to access certain benefits to build himself and make it possible to cater for himself and his loved ones then why say no?
