Drawing a nice detail for my boyfriend

Les doy la bienvenida a mi blog y feliz día para todos!

Hoy les quiero compartir mi proceso realizando un pequeño detalle a mi novio por nuestra fecha especial, así que me puse manos a la obra para hacerle una especie de retrato. Lo único que yo no sé dibujar retratos realistas 😅, pero... existen aplicaciones en dónde se pueden convertir imágenes en caricaturas, pero también no recordaba que en WhatsApp esta la opción de los avatar, en dónde se personaliza según las características de la persona.. entonces lo que hice fue pregunta mi novio de una manera muy discreta que me pasara alguno de sus stickers de avatar, y cuando lo tuve me puse rápidamente a intentar calcar esa caricatura en el cuadro.

La verdad que no fue tan difícil como imaginaba, precisamente por ser un diseño de caricatura, es más facil hacerle los detalles de luz y sombras. Además de su "retrato", como a él le gusta todo lo que tenga que ver con él básquet, de hecho tiene un jugador favorito, le dibuje la firma de ese jugador Steven Curry "SC", una firma que además él lleva en el diseño de sus zapatos...muy fan es jaja. Además de sus iniciales y una corona por lo que significa ese símbolo para los dos.

Me gustó mucho ésta idea y estoy pensando hacer algo más elaborado, una foto nuestra en caricatura en un cuadro más decente y no una tapa de cartón donde vino la pizza que él me regaló en mi cumpleaños 🥹.

Today I want to share with you my process of making a small detail to my boyfriend for our special date, so I got down to work to make him a kind of portrait. The only thing is that I don't know how to draw realistic portraits 😅, but... there are applications where you can convert images into caricatures, but I also didn't remember that WhatsApp has the avatar option, where you can customize it according to the characteristics of the person... so what I did was ask my boyfriend in a very discreet way to pass me some of his avatar stickers, and when I had it I quickly started to try to trace that caricature in the picture.

The truth is that it was not as difficult as I imagined, precisely because it is a caricature design, it is easier to make the details of light and shadows. In addition to his "portrait", as he likes everything that has to do with basketball, in fact he has a favorite player, I drew the signature of that player Steven Curry "SC", a signature that he also wears in the design of his shoes...he is a big fan haha. In addition to his initials and a crown for what that symbol means to both of them.

I really liked this idea and I'm thinking of doing something more elaborate, a caricature photo of us in a more decent picture and not a cardboard cover where the pizza he gave me for my birthday came from 🥹.
