TOWN AND MOUNTAIN || Monomad
Hello friends of this photogenic community! Best wishes to all photography lovers and especially to those who love black and white.
On this occasion I want to present you some images of landscapes and rural details. With these snapshots I make my entry to the daily challenge #monomad.
These shots are varied from some of my trips to a village nestled in a mountainous area. It is an old traditional country town that feels already weathered by the years, and some of its surroundings. Its houses already feel the weight of the years and the lack of maintenance and repair. The last hurricane that passed through the area a couple of years ago contributed a lot to the appearance of the town today.
I liked the monochromatic visual because as we know it gives the image more dramatic character, and artistic why not! I hope you like the proposal and I'll be happy to comment on any feedback, see you!

Amazing photos guys. I have the photos you shared here. Especially with old buildings. Yes, a building that has value and history of course. It's the same as when we visit a museum. We will find things that are unique and even have become rare. You have captured it perfectly my friend. I like all your photos. Thank You
I'm glad you liked the images. Time stood still in that town, it's like walking through the 50s. The mountains are beautiful and they are right in the backyards of the town houses, literally. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.👍
beautiful photos, I love how you expressed your art through the architecture and the old facades of the place, some are so deteriorated that we can appreciate the passage of time.
my favorite was this
I really like photographing dilapidated facades, the combination of the irregular with the textures of the stark fascinates me, although it depresses me sometimes, when it surrounds you a lot especially. I'm glad you will like it, I try to improve every time.
Also this image I like the most from the series.👌
I really liked the photo of the tobacco field, although all of them are very good. I think it's a bit dangerous in that doorway...😐 and the people standing there like it's nothing.
I also liked the one with the tobacco covered, that half light that sneaks through the fabric looks good. The boys play in that doorway, but not in that bad part. It has been like that for a long time and people get used to it. Hopefully there will never be any accidents 😐. Thanks for visiting and commenting!
For photographers these places are delightful, you get a glimpse of them... but reality screams out loud and it is an issue we see all the time. People living in places in danger of collapse. This should not be allowed and these people should be helped in some way. It is a sad reality.
Sometimes I don't like to photograph poverty and abandonment, it depresses me. I totally agree, the housing problem is huge. 😐
