At the end of last year I did a photo shoot on some railroad tracks near a train station. I enjoyed it so much that when I was in the middle of the process it clearly brought back memories of when I was a kid and we would play, my friends and I, on the tracks of a railroad station near my house.

I remember we would put metal beer bottle caps on top of the track, so that when the train came it would crush them into a perfect round shape. Then we would make contraptions with those caps and string that we called "string cutters" and we would spend every afternoon playing with them. Pure happiness! At least that's how it comes to my mind.

That day of the photo shoot was me being a kid again, but with my camera. That's why I want to share with you these shots and with it make my entry to the daily challenge #monomad. I hope you like my proposal, see you!

A finales del pasado año hice una sesión de fotos sobre unas vías férreas cerca de una estación de trenes. Lo disfruté tanto que cuando estaba en medio proceso me vinieron claramente recuerdos de cuando era niño y jugábamos, mis amigos y yo, en las vías de una estación de ferrocarriles cerca de mi casa. Recuerdo que poníamos tapas metálicas de botellas de cerveza encima de la vía, para cuando llegara el tren las aplastara en una forma redonda perfecta. Luego hacíamos con esas chapas y con hilo unos artilugios que les llamábamos "corta hilos" y pasábamos todas tardes jugando con eso. ¡Felicidad pura! Al menos así me viene a la mente.
Ese dia de la sesión de fotos era yo siendo un niño otra vez, pero con mi cámara. Es por eso que quiero compartir con ustedes estás tomas y con ello hacer mi entrada al reto diario #monomad. Espero les agrade mi propuesta. ¡Nos vemos!
