Splinterlands Idea | Achievements

Hey, Splinterlands Community!

It is my first Splinterlands post in some time, and I want to share some ideas that I think are cool. I know we are going through a rough time with this crazy market, but I think it is a good time to keep building. I am optimistic about the future.

As you read in the title, my idea is about achievements. This is something that I think was on the roadmap, but it has not been developed, as far as I know. The other day I was listening to the town Hall, and the team talked about some great ideas to make the game more fun. My idea is to keep track of several actions in the game, and those can be counted to earn rewards. The rewards could be tokens, skins, cards, avatar pictures, titles, or even soulbound NFTs.

Achievements could be random, and they could be daily weekly or even lifetime. These achievements could have rarety depending on the odds or how difficult they are to complete. They could go from very basic to very specific, for example:

  • Win a certain number of matches with a specific Splinter.

  • Win matches with a legendary card or foil card.

  • Count the number of draws.

  • Win with poison damage or with "Thorns" damage.

  • Reach last standing and win.

  • Deal the winning damage or blow with Furios Chicken or another special card that is not very strong.

  • Win a match that has a very low chance of winning. This could be because of luck and the opponent missing blows.

  • Win a match using a high number of mana. Maybe more than 70, which is not very common.

  • Win streaks. Win three or five matches in a row, and count every time that is achieved.

What other types of achievements come to your mind?


As I mentioned, these achievements could be daily, weekly and seasonal. This could incentivize people to log in daily to complete these challenges or achievements. I think this can make the game more fun.

The idea about the achievements is very interesting. It would surely add a lot more fun and incentive to play a lot more (although it stops me from playing really bad hahaha 😅).

It would also be nice to have seasonal achievements, so you can get them during the season and then not anymore. In my mind I can think of a kind of badges that you can see and when you pass the mouse over them they turn around, although this would require much more elaboration.

That is the idea, add more fun to the game. Some things can happen in the game that can every random and it would be cool to count them.

Definitivameante las mecánicas de logros siempre son épicas y motivadoras para todas las personas que amamos los videojuegos y que somos altamente competitivos, ya sea contra otros o contra nosotros mismos jajaja muy buen planteamiento bro, este año voy a retomar mis batallas de Splinterlands definitivamente jajaja ya estuvo bueno de esperar mientras veo las cosas épicas.

Yo últimamente he estado rentando cartas. Me ha dado flojera estar jugando cada temporada, pero lo retomaré. Y he estado holdeando mucho. Saludos.

Your idea is great and valuable. This way it will become more interesting and new users will come to it which will make it even better. Even earlier in the week, the market is looking a bit better today as well, A lot of coins are making green candle's the first day of the week. And the team should take strict action against those who are playing the game with the bots. All of us together will make this game even more successful.

Informative Post !!!
I used to play splinterlands 2 years ago, than i stop it and got busy into something else, I do remember in the start starter pack cost was 10$ but i don't how it works now a days, do you still need starter pack to play with ? My favorite summoners was water and death. what are yours ? Everything listed in the post matters to win the game, but you strategy and card placing matters in a great way. Hi, thank you for your comment. The Spellbook is 10$, but now you don't get any cards or NFTs. You can use some sample cards that you can use in battle but you can't sell them or transfer them.

Right now, there are a lot of cheap cards. It is also cheap to rent cards in the market.
