Let's Go 500! Goal achieved 2024

We've done it boys and girls, the first major milestone on our youtube journey, and our goal for this year - 500 subs. This is the new cut off for monetization, although that goal is still a bit out due to hours watched. But we are making progress!

I have a few surprises left for the year, one more video and a live stream idea, and I continue to learn a lot. My most recent video did not perform very well, but I think the thumbnail is subpar and my voice over is really bad. But its my first ever voice over!

So you can be sure my next one will be better.

I am also starting to experiment with sharing some images on youtube. So far so good in fact, it seems this strategy is really paying dividends, resulting in as many comments as my normal videos.

And you know the algo loves dem comments.

Posts on Youtube specifically target mobile users, with even memes being basically invisible on a normal computer. But increasingly over the last 100 years, many people do watch youtube on their phone.

Even people in my niche.

So things are looking up on youtube. I think we can set the next goal:
