I made a new Youtube video
So I've been pruning around the farm lately, in my spare time between checking for token arbitrage. For a long time I have been contemplating how to share this, as the results are physically stunning in person but don't seem to photograph very well, or I haven't found a way to do so.
But recently I had the idea to use the camera to capture the physical motion of the biomass, and edited it down using DaVinci Resolve. Yes I am continuing to take the plunge with video editing.
I love the results but am still working on the discipline to want to "work" on video editing. The only fun part is the results.
Let me know what you think of the video below:
And it has gotten some good results! A better than average start to my videos, and a nice 5.4% click-through rate on impressions. Hopefully this will mean youtube will continue to serve a growing number of impressions across my niche.
I am fast approaching 500 subs, when all I will have to worry about is watch hours.
I have some plans but the most important for me is to get a sustainable format on top of which I can grow my library and keep training in video editing. The editing is the bottleneck still, but also I am thinking about how to get the workflow better between idea and camera.
Big thanks to @ecoinstante for being my best camera person!
There is still a lot of year left, let's see what we can get done in December!
Haha, nice video, love the shirt joke xD
Editing is decent. Do you have a remote mic you are wearing? Kind of hard to hear at the beginning when you were far from camera. Keep it up bro!
Yes next video I will need to check levels in video editing, appreciate your feedback!!
Epic! Just dropped ya a sub and watched the full video (which I know is crazy helpful for that algo)
Crazy helpful! Here's a nickel for you my friend!
thank you good sir!
The video got 817 views, You are working hard .. keep it up
Lots of work to be done and it will be done. Nice farm by the way. Are you somewhere in Asia? !BBH !LOLZ
America.... South America that is!
@ecoinstant! @day1001 likes your content! so I just sent 1 BBH to your account on behalf of @day1001. (4/20)

Nicely done! The video perfectly shows the necessary work needed and how it is being completed.
Interesting. I do something similar, but we make this biomass, or compost, from plant residues from the field. But there must be plenty of moisture; otherwise, it will take a long time. After about three years, we can use this compost again in the field. But if we put in some food scraps, like rotten tomatoes, pumpkins, and so on, then all sorts of animals come and eat it, from mice to snails, and then in the spring, when we sow the field with crops again, they eat the crops... so you have to be careful with that...
But, as you said, that's a video niche :)
Nice editing, although I'd probably advice to put in a few cool styling to keep the viewers engaged. Probably some bit of writing so that viewers can both follow with sound and words.
Cool styling means music?
As for audio over video, I did it in one scene here and I am feeling more comfortable with it and will use it more in my next one, thanks!
Music would be nice (although some people don't like it). In this case, I actually meant styling in terms of transitioning from one part of the video to another.
