Embracing Life: Views on Eleanor Roosevelt's Inspiring Words
Hey friends, hope everyone is having a great day.
Well something that Eleanor Roosevelt said really resounds with me.
She stated, “The purpose of life is to live it, to taste experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.”
It feels as if she is speaking directly to me when I read it, telling me to seize every moment and embrace life fully.
To me, living is an epic journey. It’s not about mere existence; it’s about truly being alive. Every day offers a chance for exploring more in depth the world around us and ourselves.
This reminds me that life has its ups and downs but it’s all about experiencing everything.
When she says tasting experiences to the utmost every moment counts. I think of savoring each instant.
The joy can be found in little things like these i.e., having a great meal with family or friends, feeling the sunshine on your face or taking a minute to admire Mother Nature.
I always try to seek new experiences by reaching out eagerly.
This means moving away from my comfort zone and taking up new opportunities now and then. It could be visiting a novel place, trying out a different hobby or meeting up with different people; I think that this is why life should be lived to its fullest.
However, this is not always easy. There are those days when things don’t work as planned, challenges come and fear tries to hold me back. But even on the hard days, Roosevelt’s words remind me to keep pushing forward, never forgetting the beauty and wonder of life.
This is why I have decided to print out this quote and stick it somewhere visible every morning when I wake up.
This powerful quote serves as an important reminder for me to embrace life fully with open arms everyday as well as go through each day with excitement and curiosity about what will happen next.
In a world sometimes overwhelming, it is important to cling on moments like this that inspire a person. That is what actually counts: love, happiness and joy.
Therefore, may celebration of life be done in its totality; delight in every experience and embrace novelty with open hands.
Eleaner Roosevelt, thank you for your ever-relevant insight and for making me realize that existence itself is a journey.
