@juliakponsford is one of the hardest working artists I have ever crossed paths with. Not only does she have key a leadership role with @nftshoowroom where she works with @clayborn, @isaria, @crimsonclad and a few others to provide a community/platform/market for Hive artists to promote their work that is exclusive to our blockchain on Hive, she is one of the most talented NFT artists in the NFT space across all NFT markets! Did I mention she also runs another Art collective on Hive called @alienarthive? In this Art world, crypto or not, it is a very rare and a special thing to come across such a hard working, talented as well as community driven artist that is Julia. Her work speaks for itself, her time and attention to the artists on hive is undeniable not to mention her customer service/patience with small time NFT collectors such as myself.
I love the art and artists that Julia and the team has curated and maintained for many years. I have Complex PTSD and Art helps calms my mind. No where else will you find such an eclectic group of artists that have top notch mind soothing art as well as it being affordable than with Nftshowroom. I attribute this in large part to Julia's understanding and love for her community. No matter how bad of a day I am having or unclear my communication maybe she keeps it 100% professional and always makes you feel like you are special and apart of a very special thing with NFTshowroom even as just a collector.
Julia is a true trailblazer. Usually in my experience with artists they either need a broker, a well financed curator with influence or a name they have established themselves in order to promote their work or to be a part of a collective to further their work to buyers. With Julia she is essentially a top notch world famous artist that is self enterprising, community driven, acts like a broker with the magnificent way she manages Nftshowroom and the team there and is always working with Hive whales to help struggling artists promote their work further with key support from people like @themarkymark and @acidyo with his OCD community driven curation guild.
OCD Communities Incubation Program
Alien Art Hive has been part of the OCD community incubation program since May 2020! This has really helped our little community grow and reward tons of amazing artists! At the time of this post we have 2,776 subscribers!
I am sure you have already noticed, @castleberry is our curator and has been doing an amazing job! He now makes 2 curation posts a week as there is so much amazing art. Castleberry loves to hear about the background, inspiration and process behind your alien art so if you want to be curated keep that in mind :)
Nftshowroom Cryptovoxel Parcel in ETH Metaverse
As well as working with large stake holders and community driven initiatives such as OCD, Julia has taken the initiative to acquire a parcel in the cryptovoxel metaverse that exposes Hive and our artists to the ETH market base for NFT collectors. Not sure if that was just her or a team effort but she is defiantly managing to promote this space as well as maintain it. There is no community proposals for this expensive endeavor nor is there any incentive other than Large Stake holders like Marky coming along and providing key support. Recently, he supported her efforts here by renting out the space for a month for @hivepunks as well as working on behind the scenes stuff like creating OpenHive NFT market on Tribaldex, that furthers exposure for Nftshowroom art and artists. Julia has amazing vision and ambition. There is no other person or community I would want to be apart of if was an artist than Nftshowroom because of Julia's amazing efforts, outreach and results.
It was important that I highlight this person's work with the community of Hive, our starving yet talented artists, large stake holders and extensive efforts to maintain the very important Marketplace that we have with Nftshowroom! I will be curating and making posts for NFT artists on Hive and Nftshowroom. It is important for me to inform artists that I meet off and on Hive, about Julia's hard work and the amazing artists that are on Nftshowroom with a post like this. Increasing your posting frequency will not 'help vote delivery' unless you are receiving max upvote from all accounts already.
We've been experiencing node issues for the last few days. During replay periods the bot sometimes votes only your newest post (and ignores older posts). So increasing your posting frequency is actually increasing the likelihood of posts getting missed.
Hive SBI is designed to deliver consistent values over longer stretches of time (a week, a month), regardless of posting frequency. That's why values per post can vary, but it's also why replay doesn't always catch every post. If a post is missed, but the right value can be delivered to a later post, then it's not as important that the post was missed. We only manually catch up missed posts for accounts that are already getting 100% vote from more than one voting account.
Ok, well hopefully, node issues are fixed and I appreciate the explanations but until a full 7 days has passed I guess we will see what is really going on because nothing you are saying is adding up at all. I do want to sponsor more people.
I'd be happy to hop on a call with you on discord and show you specifically how we have been managing sustainability metrics since the Hive SBI fork. I think that would make it more clear why there are vote differences between now and previous periods.
Yes, discord is something I dislike using. I need to kyc with you anyways and have better way to contact outside of discord. You and I have discussed program sustainability several times and the HP could had always been recharging faster IMO. I did always feel partially responsible for such situations in regards to HP recharge. I understand program is not intended to be investment or used for large upvote values. So if program was changed slightly to help such matters mentioned above then I am so ok. But it is not anything to be determined until 7-10 day period has happened since reacquiring shares due to algo.
I tell people these things and encourage use of program especially now in Neoxian's group where sbi-tokens has very very large stake. I also tell them to not do what I do as program is intend to help minnows and provide support as opposed to ROI.
I think it is just important to have math add up and figure out new varibles if any to better approach spending Hive on this and that. Hive could be anywhere between $5-1000 by next year and a 3 Hive vote will be rocking as it is.
