The Year in review: Achievements
Each year is regarded to be a new phase, old things have passed away, beholding something new. Some individuals believe each year has its luck, and this luck comes in different forms depending on the needs of an individual. So whenever one of our top priorities is achieved, we consider the year to be a blessing and this automatically heightens our spirit to push further.
I didn't have much expectations at the beginning of this year. The fact that most of my goals didn't come to fruition made me weary to make one. But then the year had plans for me and I didn't seem to be fully prepared for it. One big plan I had was to complete my building project. I've lingered around this goal for a long time and I almost thought it was impossible to achieve that this year because of the rise in the cost of materials. But then God's mercy found me in my toiling and decided to not just make it a wonder but a double blessing.
First was finding a partner , exactly as I have always dreamt of. I didn't struggle to find her, luck and chance is all that happened. My African mum at one point had started asking questions if I had it in mind to settle down. The Joy in her eyes was satisfying when I introduced this lady to her. She would have said "At last" in her mind after so many years of being single. Then the financial breakthrough to make advances in my building project. It had been in the lintel level for a very long time but this year came with so many blessings and I am able to roof it and have plans to proceed with the building work.
This wasn't any of my plans for the year but it happened and I am grateful there's growth on my side.
The year is still left with four months and there's still something that can come from it. Two things I like about these accomplishments is that; I didn't struggle for them, and they are things I've always wished and prayed for.
When it comes to changes I've experienced about myself, I'll say I've learned to manage. This year probably taught me that so I can make better decisions with my money and time. This change may be one of the small blessings, but it'll help me for a lifetime.

Some accomplishments might require a lot of time and effort and ultimately become less valuable in our lives. However, others come in an easier and more natural way and seem like they were meant to be. Not every success comes with difficulties.
