The Girl in the coffee shop

Jade's attention drifted to the girl who sat alone on the other side of the Cafe. She was wearing a pink gown, and sat confidently with her leg crossed as she sipped from the cup of coffee on her table. Jade had arrived in the Bahamas barely two weeks ago, however, he was visiting that same cafe for the third time. He gazed at the damsel who seemed lost with the taste of what she was gulping and wondered why she came to the coffeehouse alone and most often isolated herself from the crowd. It was the fragrance of her perfume that had attracted him to her on the first day he saw her, again, the pleasant odor charmed him.

He had cautioned himself not to fall in love, but there he was helpless and vulnerable and even though Love was never a thing for him, he couldn't help the feelings.

"Who's this girl in the coffee shop?" He mumbled the question. I should give love a chance he heard himself saying aloud. Jade was wearing a black t-shirt and blue jeans, it was his favorite dressing style each time he decided to stroll out for a coffee, it was as if drinking coffee had a specific dressing code attached to it.

He walked up to her and politely asked if he could join her and reluctantly she offered him a seat.

"I'm Jade," he introduced himself.

"I'm Magdalene" she replied as they shook hands

"I noticed you sit alone each time you visits the cafe"

"I have the philosophy that coffee should be drunk in silence, " she replied. He laughed and they continued talking for a while. Jade realized Magdalene was also new in town and had located the coffee shop so she could come to spend her free hours there. They had several things in common and one of which was drinking coffee at 5: 00 PM. They exchanged contacts and agreed to meet again in the coffee shop but this time she wouldn't be sitting alone but with Jade enjoying the coffee together.
