Lonely days
The silent screams, the deafening sound
Empty hours with no one to call home
Dry blum, lonely street
They linger around on and on
A fog of loneliness, my new companion
But the quiet moments are when the loneliness joys
I search for a connection but all were broken clay
But I hope that someday I'll find a match
The days blend together, a neverending haze
I search for a meaning but lost I feel inside
Could the toad be my friend? I ponder
Croak croak, they say, a language I didn't comprehend
But still i hold on to hope thin's thread
That someday the fog will melt away
And I'd find my way out.
Though the days are long and the nights are cold
The lonely days are but for a moment.

The lonely days are for a moment "
This word just hit me differently as if you understand my mood currently

Thank you ma'am. It seems as if a lot of people are going through this phase at the moment. But then, it's for a moment.
Thanks for stopping by
Sometimes, we fail to realize this as humans and all we do is wallow in the lonliness.
This was a beautiful piece of poetry.

I believe that's because people fail to see the future.
I'm glad you enjoyed the read
Have a lovely day
