Confusion On The Loose

I have never known what I wanted
I didn't know what it looks like
While I went in search of my missing puzzle
I wasn't familiar with the broken piece.
Oh, what a vain quest, confusion on the loose
I felt lines were in pleasant places
But realized I'm the chief builder of it.

Confusion on the loose
Fasten my feet before I go astray
Sit me down to learn what my broken puzzle is
Help me know my very task
The city is ruined, every man on the loose
Going to and fro no where
In search of nothing they know.

Teach me to be still
To quiet the noises that speaks indistinctively
Let my eyes see afar
And my hands to soar high
Until my shackles are loosed of the confusion that roam the streets.

It is difficult to understand how the world is going down a cultural cliff, people seem to walk aimlessly, just letting the tide drag them, is what I understand, in what you describe in this poem, I hope I am right in what you intend to say in the poem. Greetings.

You're in line, how people feel they know the way but ends up walking aimlessly and not finding fulfilment

Well many times we get lost for no apparent reason, we ourselves so to speak complicate our lives, letting ourselves go where the wind takes us, very great writing, cheers ♥
