A Day To Break Away
One wish I always had was to break away from my introverted nature and explore the world. There are a lot of things running in my head to do but I end up doing one or none, I find myself curling back into my room and having one nap after another. As an introvert, I stay afar and wish I can go out and hang out with friends, take a stroll outside to breath fresh air, take that risk I feel can kill me, or try something new. When people say "do that one thing that makes you happy" , I can only sit and wish I can. But then, if my fear of the unknown was taken away, If I could break out from the comfort of my room, these are the things I'll do- Break away.
Sometimes I feel I have a social part that is dominant inside of me. I'll explore this part of me that I believe I always had, call upon a few friends and have a good hangout, probably to a pool, a zoo, a tourist attraction, or go to a club- Something I've never done but wish I can. I have been to a pool before, it was fun. As much as I wanted to do it always, I couldn't break away from my indoor comfort.
Another thing I'll do is give love a chance. I mean a date. I've never gone on an official date with anyone, not a family or someone I love. Most often I make an order of whatever I need and hurriedly return home. These 24 hours would be a good time to genuinely break away from the thought of money, busyness, and spend quality time with family or someone I'm in a relationship with.
The 24 hours seems too short for someone like me who has a lot of wishes. I'll want to use this moment to learn something new- How to drive, how to cultivate a flower, how to skydive, how to play a tennis or snooker game. But this means I'll need to allocate a good time for all these activities. Aside from the night time, I have 18 hours. The first 6 hours will be to hang out with friends at a zoo, a club or a pool, the other 6 hours would be learning something new, a sport or planting of ornaments, and the other 6 hours would be time with family and my girlfriend. After such a successful day, I can curl back to my bed, knowing I've had a great and memorable day.

You have a great ideas of how to "break away". It sounds wonderful. As an introvert, it is understandable that it is safe to remain in one's comfort zone but your plans to break away could bring you much joy. You have thought of doing many wonderful things. I hope you will get a chance to plan at least one such day in reality.

Thank You. Sooner I may give one of them a try.
Thanks for the kind comment
Like you said - this is most likely a social part of you that wants to explore and "break away". The prompt triggered you to write about this topic so maybe it is something that that social part of you would love to explore. Awareness is always the first step. That is a good sign. As an introvert, this is a lovely day that you have planned. I hope in reality you will be able to do at least one thing from this nicely planned 24 hours.
I strongly hope to, maybe this is a call to and already a sign that I can .
Thank you so much
Cool. Everyday is a day to break away. Infact, every moment is an opportunity to do things differently from the previous
Yeah, that's if we use the moments
Exactly Sir
I am an introvert too and I get that feeling a lot but I have not been able to let myself free to do any of them but I will actually be nice to do all those things. I hope you will.

I hope we all do. It requires one to take a step, then another, it'll go a long way to help one break out
I hope so too.
I can relate to you being an introvert and how it affects your social life but then, breaking out is possible especially through this means you highlighted here. I hope you get the chance to spend a day learning new things and meeting with your loved ones. Just take a bold step in placing your hands in any of these.
Writing it out only made me see the possibility of doing it.
Thank You so much
