Mediterranean January: Sea Water & Half Bath

Hello people!

A new year and suddenly during the winter we are given wonderful, bright and even somewhat warm days. And it is a gift because it allows us to enjoy more outdoors and especially near the sea. Today at the beginning of January I went to the beach to enjoy that marvelous Mediterranean sea.

I look at the horizon and that blue world that in a moment surrounds me. The sea breeze and the sound of the waves, again, again, I missed it. While the sun gently caresses us, so there we go...

Well, the plan from the beginning was to go get sea water, which I use for various things. If you don't know anything about it, look up information about René Quinton. I had very little left, so I took some bottles to get water now that in winter the sea is a bit cleaner, without people bathing with chemical creams that drip into the water.

So I had to get in, rolling up my shorts. Yes, shorts, there are mild days even in winter, and I almost bathed halfway, and in the end I even got my face wet, and of course my arms when I put the bottles in. I almost took a full dip, but it was cold, and my feet felt it, it wasn't time to stay long yet. But what a feeling! First almost-a-bath of the year! And it also served to connect me with the earth, stepping on sand with bare feet on the beach, in grounding mode and under the rays of the sun that I am so grateful for.

Enjoying the moment, looking at the sea, taking just a couple of photos, because I didn't want to be distracted from that moment of connection with nature, so special, and a bit chilly, but on a wonderful day.

¡Hola gente!
Un año nuevo y de repente durante el invierno nos regalan días estupendos, brillantes e incluso algo cálidos. Y es un regalo porque nos permite disfrutar más al aire libre y sobre todo cerca del mar. Hoy a inicios de enero he ido a la playa a disfrutar de ese maravilloso mar Mediterráneo.

Miro al horizonte y a ese mundo azul que en un momento me envuelve. La brisa marina y el sonido de las olas, otra vez, de nuevo, lo echaba de menos. Mientras el sol suavemente nos acaricia, así que ahí vamos...

Bueno, el plan era desde el principio ir a por agua de mar que utilizo para varias cosas, si no sabéis nada al respecto buscad información sobre René Quinton. Me quedaba poca así que me llevé unas botellas para coger agua ahora que en invierno el mar está algo más limpio, sin gente bañándose con cremas químicas que se escurren en el agua.

Así que había que meterse, arremangándome el pantalón corto. Sí, corto, hay días templados incluso en invierno, y casi bañándome hasta la mitad, y al final incluso me mojé la cara, y por supuestos los brazos al introducir las botellas. Me faltó poco para darme un chapuzón total, pero estaba fría, y mis pies lo sentían, no era aún tiempo para permanecer mucho. Pero ¡qué sensación! ¡El primer casi baño del año! Y también sirvió para conectarme con la tierra, pisar arena con los pies descalzos por la playa, en modo grounding y bajos los rayos del sol que tanto agradezco.

Disfrutando el momento, mirando al mar, tomando sólo un par de fotos, pues no quería distraerme de ese instante de conexión con la naturaleza tan especial, y algo fresquita, pero en un día fenomenal.
