After the storm, the calm comes... [ESP]

Hello people / Hola gente

They say that after the storm comes the calm, it is a saying in Spanish and it is something that, if we observe nature, we can easily see that this happens.

And this time the storm has been more than that, it has changed lives, and it has taken others. I am talking about the terrible floods in Valencia, Spain. Devastating effects, and a nature that, without control, destroys everything, and the uselessness and evil of those who are in charge increase all this tragedy.

But as happens in life, the only option is to live it again, get up and go out again, and suddenly everything has changed, everything is different, once again there is calm. Although the calm this time carries a weight in the air, a weight of rage, sadness and silence.

As the dark clouds move away, only the remains remain, or light white clouds that change the landscape, it feels like everything is returning to normal, even the sea is calming down. So are we.

We continue walking, feeling the strange atmosphere, seeing that everything is still the same but that nothing will be the same. Although there are no signs of devastation here, it feels very close.

We look at the sea again, it relaxes us. We close our eyes and thank in front of a sea that now gently consoles us. We breathe deeply and say thanks again, for being here, for still being alive, for having been lucky enough to have been simple spectators of that cruel moment. We realize the value of life and how fortunate we are.

This post is a tribute to all those people who were victims of the "gota fría" ("cold drop", that's the true name of this known phenomenon here) in Valencia, disastrous floods that have taken the lives of hundreds of people, more than a thousand are still missing, and the rest have lost everything, cars, houses, businesses, memories or family members...

I hope (and pray for) that with the solidarity of the citizens and with a lot of strength everyone will get ahead, and the whole region is there. Despite the miserable politicians and other rabble that support, cover up and justify them. Let us not forget, let us not forget them.

Only the people save the people.

Winters have come and now we will see more of the same weather. These clouds are quite low and therefore look beautiful.

"Only the people can save the people." I am so sorry for the disaster you experienced. I can't find words to say. I have recently experienced what you and your country have experienced. Everything seems difficult, meaningless and very sad. Even the survivors are unhappy. I hope these wounds will heal over time. Please take care of yourself. ❤️🙏

A sad occurrence that happened there. A lot to deal with by so many people. No matter how big of a storm there is calmness afterwards through healing, help and hope.

Yeah very sad... and it's hard to rebuild all and to keep living as usual even if you have not been damaged or affected but everyone talks about it. Hope that calm brings also justice because it could have been less dramatic if people in charge were not psychopaths....

After every storm, everything calms down, but sadly, the lives lost can never be brought back.😔 Let's hope it never happens again.
