DUO Status Update - 7/4/24
It's time for an update on how things are going with DUO! In this update there is a lot of great news to share.
Big news
The first trench was sold out today that's 20k DUO! Moving forward 40,000 DUO are up for sale at the new price of 1 hive each for the second trench, We want to thank everyone that has been supporting the project so far and we will continue to do our best to stick to our mission and to provide you all as well as hive with value.
Curation requirements
DUO and the HOC (Hive Onboarding Committee) are committed to growing hive and in an effort to avoid supporting people abusing the chain and to prevent the project from being threatened beyond the DUO staking requirements.
In order to be eligible for curation a DUO stacker (minimum 200 DUO staked) must also
- Not be on a blacklist for example with hive watchers.
- Site sources for content that is not yours.
- Heavy use of AI, Using AI is fine but your entire post should not be AI generated and when you use AI be sure to acknowledge this fact.
- Spam posts/comments as in the content is just pure copy paste
HP Growth
@duo-curator is currently sitting at 9,998.808 HP!
Everything has been powered up to this point. We'll be staking all Hive-Engine tokens earned through July to create a baseline for curation. After that, 90% of all tokens, HBD, etc earned will be sold off and paid out as dividends. 10% will be powered up in order to grow the project.
Right now, nothing has been delegated to the HOC account while we're still growing the project. We didn't set an exact timeline for this, but we will announce this change once it's effective.
Dividends
The dividends test turned out great and as stated in the white paper the daily dividends will be starting August 1st.
you must stake at least 200 DUO to receive dividends.
500 staked tips 0.1 (1x/day)
1k staked tips 0.2 (1x/day)
5k staked tips 0.3 (1x/day)
10k staked tips 0.5 (2x/day)
Curation tiers
As we mentioned in out last DUO status update with the closing of the first trench we will transition to tiered votes, this change will be taking place next week, for now the mana is stabilized and DUO curator will continue to deliver 70% votes (35% for the DUO founders).
200 DUO staked - 20% vote
300 DUO staked - 30% vote
400 DUO staked - 40% vote
500 DUO staked - 50% vote
600 DUO staked - 60% vote
700 DUO staked - 70% vote
800 DUO staked - 80% vote
900 DUO staked - 90% vote
1000+ DUO staked - 100% vote
