Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge - Magi Necrosi
Hello, brave warriors of the Splinterlands! The long-awaited weekend has arrived, and of course I can't refuse myself the pleasure of taking part in the new Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge, especially since its hero is the excellent MAGI NECROSI - one of my favorite epic cards of the elements of Death.
Its Camouflage ability makes it invulnerable from a distance, and it's a good combination of speed and magic attack with a 6 mana cost, so I use it a lot, and when combined with Waka Spiritblade's poisoning ability it's a deadly weapon!
So I was up against a pretty strong opponent with a good selection of Fire cards - the powerful Forgotten One in the first position, the speedy Fineas Rage enhanced with Tarsa, and the damn dangerous Tenyii Striker, and my lineup looked like this:
Cursed Windeku
With its high health and Thorns ability, this card is great for first position, and the way it wears down the opponent's tank certainly pleases me. Too bad the fight was in a silver league and this monster didn't have the weird self-healing ability :)
Corrupted Pegasus
Strengthening the attack on the opponent's first position never hurts - so the second line went to this melee monster, which despite its low speed can be quite effective and damn useful!
Silent Sha-Vi
A silent killer, the unbeatable sneak monster that works well against enemy mages and archers, who tend to "hide" in the last positions.
Dark Enchantress
With Arkemis The Bear, shields are becoming more and more popular, so I've been adding this classic mage (which ignores shields) to my combos a lot, and it's a good speed and attacker for a 6 mana cost.
Fallen Specter
I've found that a fast attack is one of the most useful tools in combat, so I put this inexpensive but fast mage at number five. Combined with the poisoning ability and Snipe from the combat rules, this is simply the most powerful combo!
Magi Necrosi
The protagonist lurks in a far away position. Invulnerable to the first position, with Snipe and Poisoning abilities - an ultimatum card!!!
Contrary to my expectations - I failed to poison my opponent's cards during the first round, and moreover I lost my Fallen Spectre, so I immediately set myself up for serious losses on my part.
But over the course of the second round the tide began to turn - I got rid of a few enemy cards, my MAGI NECROIS was dealing damage from its stealth position, and the qualitative advantage shifted to my side.
It wasn't too hard to get rid of a few cards left, and it was a very easy win :)
Just wanted to share my experiences and reiterate how great MAGI NECROSI can be, and I can't wait to play it with the Soulbound edition cards I don't have enough of yet.
See you on the battlefield!

That looked like a pretty easy victory to me 😉
