How I took the situation to my side

Hey everyone. We all are somehow stuck in certain situation where so many things are stake and we cannot really make the most of the situation or cover the damage. This week's prompt has asked us to write about that sort of situation and how we turned the tables.

I have found myself in certain situations quite frequently to be honest with you all. 7 years ago, when I was working on the shop of my own. It was a colour's shop. Well it was my father's shop and I was doing my MBBS back then. I used to look after the shop. I bought a stock which was very expensive. I thought I would make some profit out of it.

After the stock arrived, the price dropped drastically. I was so worried that this would cost us a fortune. The situation was completely against us. I knew that my father would be very disappointed if he came to know about what I had done. I began to panic for that. I had no idea what to do in that situation. I kept thinking about it for days.

One thing that I like about myself is that I am very patient. I knew that If I make a hasty decision, the losses would hurt even more.

Then, I contacted a few dealers and different shops, I told them that the stock is new and bargained the price with them. To recover the investment, I sold half the stock to dealers and half of the stock to local market and local customers. This way, I was able to sell it to the actual purchasing price in which I bought it. No one was ready to buy the full stock.

It was a very traumatic but necessary experience for me. I learned a great deal from that. Thanks guys for your time. I hope you gained something from my experience. It is true that it is not the situation but how we handle that situation.

I have taken the pictures with my Iphone XR at my home in Karachi when my mother cooked.
