Kitties of Playa

We revel in the stray and free-roaming cats here in PDC. That isn't to say we wish to see stray cats but we are doing our best to take care of those we encounter. I will highlight these cuties in a series here as some of these 'Gatos" have become a part of our daily life.
Last night we walked my daughter's friend home and as returned we saw this lovely but rough-looking orange cat on the staircase. I have seen this fella here before on a few occasions but have never taken the time to pet it. He was friendly and enjoyed the scritches when all of a sudden a siamese comes happily trotting from across the street. We gravitated towards the siamese and she was so gentle. She rolled onto her back and in most instances petting a kitty belly is a terrible trap, this one soaked in all the love.
