LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga – My adventure in a galaxy built of blocks! 🚀✨
Friday evening, the kids are asleep, the cat Mija is curled up on the couch, and I... sit down to play. "Just for a moment" – I say to myself. A classic cheat, because I know very well that in a moment I will spend a few hours jumping between planets and smashing everything that looks like a block. But hey, in LEGO Star Wars it's a must!
First steps in the galaxy – and the first blocks on the floor 🏗️🚀
"Mom, can I be Darth Vader?" – asks Alex, before I even have time to choose the game mode.
“You can be whoever you want, just don’t smash everything like last time,” I reply, remembering how his “experiment” with Kyber bricks ended with half of the team being thrown into space.
We start with “A New Hope.” Leia appears on the screen, hands R2-D2 the Death Star plan, and I… try to explain to the kids that this droid is the greatest hero in the entire series.
“But it only squeaks!” says Wiktor, turning up his nose.
“It squeaks, but it saves the galaxy. Like your pug Roni, only more stellar.”

LEGO Star Wars is not just a game – it’s a mine of absurd humor that makes you laugh until you cry.
When Luke finds out that Vader is his father, instead of a dramatic reaction, he throws him a… plastic prosthetic.
Han Solo, instead of flirting with Leia, offers her… to split a sandwich.
And Yoda? This guy is a master of everything – even riding a bike, because no one had predicted such a plot.
"Mom, why are they acting so strange?" – asks Sara, as Leia grabs Luke's hand, and I can hardly hold back my laughter, recalling their "family" relationship.
"It's... a longer story, honey. Maybe when you grow up, I'll explain."
Galaxy Exploration – Victor vs. the Millennium Falcon 🌌✨
Each planet in the game is a small work of art. We land on Tatooine, where Victor decides to pilot the Millennium Falcon.
"Just don't hit the rocks!" – I shout, seeing the ship doing barrel rolls like in a disaster simulator.
"This is my rescue mission!" – shouts Victor proudly.
"Mission or not, Vader is already here. Where are your reflexes?!"
We finally reach the Rebel base, although only a few bricks remain from the Falcon. Fortunately, everything can be rebuilt in LEGO.
The Dark Side? Tempting, but... 🌑🕯️
"Mom, what's that spell?" Alex asks, seeing Darth Vader throwing opponents in all directions.
"It's the Force, but it's dark. Do you want to try it?"
"I do!" Alex replies, throwing R2-D2 into the abyss.
"Nooooo! That was our droid! What about the light side?!"
"But the dark side is more fun."
And so begins a small family war. Me and Wiktor try to play on the side of good, while Alex and Sara blow up the Death Star... only to rebuild it and turn it into an amusement park.
The final battle - Darth Vader vs.... Mija the cat? 🐱⚔️
When the final battle on Mustafar comes to an end, emotions run high. Wiktor leads Obi-Wan, I control Anakin, and the rest of the team... cheers on the cat Mija, who suddenly decided to jump on the pad.
"Mija, get off! This is not your fight!" I shout, trying to avoid the lava.
But the cat doesn't let up, and Wiktor, laughing, shouts:
"Mija is now a true Sith Lord!"
Ultimately, I end up losing - not because of Anakin, but because of the cat. The kids proclaim Mija a hero of the galaxy, and I capitulate.
Why is LEGO Star Wars a game we love?
Laugh until you cry - because nothing beats the sight of Vader playing the banjo.
Gameplay for everyone - even Wiktor and Sara can build something (and destroy it).
Shared moments – because LEGO Star Wars is not just about winning, but also about having fun and creating your own stories.
“Mom, when can we play again?” – the kids ask when I close the console.
“Maybe tomorrow. But on one condition – Mija doesn’t play.”
