[Xenith Archer] Share your Battle challenge (2)

Second attempt at the Xenith Archer share your battle challenge, this time round used it with the life summoner since it does add damage to it, which makes it more useful since its base damage is low.

Sliver max | LV4 - +2 Speed

Cost per level (used prices at time of writing)

Seems to cost at least 0.16 per copy, its price range is somewhere in the middle of the chaos legion rare cards so its not the cheapest card to get.

Bronze max | LV2 - 5 copies = 0.8 usd.
Sliver max | LV4 - 25 copies = 4 usd.
Gold max | LV6 - 60 copies = 9.6 usd.
Diamond and above | LV MAX - 115 copies = 18.4 usd.

getting it to level 2 seems to be the best? it get 1 more hp which makes it last longer as a sneak shield and the higher level do not add much to the stats.

not worth it to get the gold one since the cost of the gold copy is like 5x the cost of the regular foil version.


Battle rules

This opponent seem to favor death and likes to use the summoner that reduces melee damage and from the available elements life seem to be the best option since they favor range units as their attackers.


Team Composition

Role: Summoner

General sloan chosen since the opponent is most likely gonna play the melee damage reduction summoner and since general sloan gives additional range damage its will help with the range units in the lineup


Position: Main Tank

Blinding Reflector chosen as the main tank for its good mana to armor and health values, as its damage is at 1 it will not be lowered since it cannot be reduced to zero


Role: Debuffer/ Sub Tank

Time Mage, it will reduce the speed of the opponent team making them have a lower chance of dodging my team's attacks and increase the chance for my units to attack first.


Role: Melee Damage/ Sneak/

Stitch Leech although its a melee unit and would lose 1 point of damage it has 4 hp and can attack from anywhere so its worth to use it.


Role: Double Strike/ Range Damage

Pelacor Arbalest the main damage dealer on the team, it will deal a total of 6 damage after the buff from the summoner which will make it the hardest damage dealing unit on the team.


Role: Star of the Challenge/ Range Damage/ Sneak Shield

Xenith Archer the star of the challenge, its will act as a sneak shield to protect the Pelacor Arbalest since the Pelacor Arbalest does like 3 time the damage the Xenith Archer does.

Xenith Archer is still the better 2 cost unit to use in this lineup as it has the highest hp unit available


Role: Dodge/ Sneak Shield

Chaos Agent with its dodge it should be able to survive at least 1 hit if lucky if not its still a decent sneak shield since the death team has quite a few sneak units.


Now on to the Battle

Round 1

As predicted they did use the summoner that reduces melee damage as like their past few battles and the death element, so running the life element with range units was the correct choice.

unluckily, they ran the creeping ooze which reduced my team's speed negating the speed advantage gained from the time mage debuff and due to lack of speed the chaos agent was unable to dodge the sneak attack and it got taken out on the first round.

Pelacor Arbalest with its high damage managed to take out their main tank which is great.


Round 2

Xenith Archer fell this round but it did its job well since it contributed in taking out the opponent main tank and protected the Pelacor Arbalest which is extremely vital since its the main damage dealer.


Round 3 & 4

Pelacor Arbalest basically single handedly took out the opponent team since once the slient sha-vi fell the opponent only had a range unit left and that range unit did not have close combat resulting in it being unable to attack and ending the match.


Strategy Talk

Xenith Archer is a card that getting a level 2 copy is good enough since that when its get an additional point of hp. the cost of the gold foil version is quite a bit but it will start at level 2 and does give the focus point boost so it might be ok.

Its great to be use in low mana battle, if used in equalizer matches a level 1 copy will work fine since the hp will just become the highest unit hp and since its a range unit it will work well as backline shield.

General sloan is the better summoner to use with it since general sloan gives an additional point of damage making the Xenith Archer do at least 2 point which is the minimum damage required to do a point of damage to shielded units.
