First attempt at the Portal Spinner share your battle challenge, Well to be honest I do not use this card often since there are better range cards to use in the life set so this card is used sometimes when the ruleset forces or I need to use up my mana.

Odd mana battle limits what cards can be played, which does change the cards I would have normally used. This ruleset does allow me to use the Portal Spinner as its an odd card which is good for this challenge.


Team Composition

Range Damage, Scattershot, Star of the challengeHas Scattershot and snare which can bring down flying units and since it has scattershot it will not be taunted however it hits at random so its really up to luck on what it attacks.
Sneak, PoisonDoes sneak attacks and can inflict poison debuff on the opponent team which is great since it reduce the hp by 2 per turn which is quite strong
Sneak shield, DodgeChaos agent with its dodge ability it acts as a sneak shield for this team which its low cost its used to protect the more important backline units on the team

Now on to the Battle

Round 1

Play an odd only match is a bit harder since its harder to guess what they are going to use.

The opponent seems to be mainly using the sandworm as its main attacker with the wavesmith being its helper, however by looking at their available damage, they would not be able to take out the Uriel the Purifier since it would constantly heal every turn.

The dodge of the chaos agent is showing its worth by dodging that first sand worm attack allowing it to escape certain death.

Round 2 & 3

The sand worm was taken out by the portal spinner with sheer luck resulting in removing their main damage source pushing this battle towards its end since they are unable to take out the Uriel the Purifier.

Round 4 to The End

The opponent should have used a different set of units or placed the sandworm further in front to protect it since its was their main damage source.

portal spinner attacks at random which makes it a hit or miss but for this battle it targeted the correct units haha

Strategy Talk

The strategy was mainly around the Uriel the Purifier card since it has the tank heal and with odd mana you are unable to use the venari crystal smith as the healer so a big strong monster with tank heal is great, if they used a unit with affliction the game might have gone differently.

Portal Spinner its a nice card to use with its high attack strength and when buffed by the summoner it hits even harder but its attacks are random which is good and bad at the same time since its requires luck.
