Assistant wanted [Eng-Esp]
Once upon a time, according to legend, in a remote village located in the north of Sucre State in my beautiful Venezuela, a world event was held where all the creatures that emerge at night, especially during the full moon, converged.
Witches, entities and orbs from different hemispheres of the planet and the underworld, to organize and participate in the celebration of World Witches' Day to be held on October 31 of this year. Among these were: the headless horse, the monster of the black lagoon, Harry Potter, Hermione, Dumbledore, Severus, Sirius, the Sayona, the Llorona, the Chinigua, the witch of Snow White, among others.
The villagers were frightened, because the great sorcerers, apparitions and monsters were going to take postgraduate courses to strengthen their knowledge. A beautiful young woman named Ana arrived in the village, she was very intelligent, about twenty-two years old, and she was going to do her rural training in the town's Medicine Department. With an extraordinary vocation of service.
The Hospital Director informs her that she has a residence assigned to her for the duration of her assignment, for her the house is too big and additionally she has a problem and that is that she is very fearful, she does not like the dark and has to sleep with a light on.
Érase una vez, según cuenta la leyenda, que, en un pueblo recóndito ubicado al norte del Estado Sucre de mi bella Venezuela, se realizó un evento mundial donde convergieron todas las criaturas que emergen en las noches, especialmente en las de luna llena.
Los brujos, entes y orbes desde distintos hemisferios del planeta y del inframundo, para organizar y participar en la celebración del día Mundial de las Brujas a celebrarse el 31 de octubre del presente año. Entre estos se encontraban: el caballo sin cabeza, el monstruo de la laguna negra, Harry Potter, Hermione, Dumbledore, Severus, Sirius, la Sayona, la Llorona, la Chinigua, la bruja de Blancanieves, entre otros.
Los lugareños del pueblo andaban asustados, pues los grandes hechiceros, apariciones y monstruos iban a realizar postgrados para reforzar sus conocimientos. Al pueblo llego una bella joven llamada Ana, es muy inteligente, rondaba los veintidós años de edad, la cual va a realizar la rural en la Medicatura del pueblo. Con una vocación de servicio extraordinaria.
El Director del Hospital le informa que ella tiene una residencia asignada mientras dure su asignación, para ella la casa es muy grande y adicionalmente tiene un problema y es que es muy miedosa, no le gustaba la oscuridad y tiene que dormir con una luz prendida.

The realizations of these Congresses date back to the XVII century. Since that time, the communities have been increasing their population, and this town does not escape from that reality, therefore, there are more people to scare.
The locals, those days of the event had stopped doing their daily lives, they no longer played lotteries, did not drink rum, nor gossiped at the doors of their houses and the "pega cachos" did not go out either, because they were too afraid, of course their spouses were happy, because thanks to the event those days they were not hit by "pega cachos".
The women met and agreed to make an appointment with the Sayona, to see if they could scare their husbands, so that they would never go out and hit them again. What they did not know is that this is the essence of people and it does not change, no matter who they talk to.
Cuando la dirección del hospital de una ciudad cualquiera le informo sobre realizar la rural en ese pueblo, no le quedó más remedio que aceptar, pues es un requisito para optar a su título de Médico Cirujano.
Las realizaciones de estos Congresos datan desde el siglo XVII. Desde ese tiempo para acá las comunidades han ido incrementando su población, y este pueblo no escapa de esa realidad, por ende, hay más personas que asustar.
Los lugareños, esos días del evento habían dejado de hacer su vida cotidiana, ya no jugaban loterías, no bebían ron, ni chismeaban en las puertas de sus casas y los pega cachos tampoco salían, ya que tenían mucho miedo, por supuesto sus cónyuges estaban felices, por el hecho de que gracias al evento esos días no les pegaron cachos.
Las mujeres se reunieron y acordaron solicitar una cita con la Sayona, para ver la posibilidad de que les asustaran a sus maridos, para que estos no salieran más nunca a pegarles cachos. Lo que ellas no sabían, es que esa es la esencia de las personas y esa no cambia, así hablen con quien sea.

They were talking, the Sayona, the witch of Snow White, La Llorona, the headless horse and Chinigua. La Llorona commented: "I don't have enough time to do my job, there are too many people to scare", at which point Snow White's witch said: "Well... try to hire an assistant".
La Sayona, who does not stay behind, tells them: "Some ladies of the town asked to talk to me, to see the possibility of scaring their husbands, since they are being unfaithful to them". On one of those frightening nights, Ana has not been able to rest, she has been given an allergy caused by the smell emanating from the various plants with which they make the concoctions that are being prepared to make the spells in the great Congress.
Additionally, she is frightened by so many witches gathered in town. Because of this, her family decides to send her sister-in-law Anastasia, who is Mexican by birth, to accompany her, a very ugly woman, but with a good heart. When she arrives in town, she tells him: "At night the Llorona has not let me sleep, she keeps crying through the streets of the town in search of her lost son".
What she does not know is that Anastasia, who is not afraid of witches or those specimens, since she is a "nahual of the Mayas", told her: "Don't worry, tonight I will be watching to see if she passes by, to talk to her". That night, not the next step, nothing.
Estaban conversando, la Sayona, la bruja de Blancanieves, La Llorona, el caballo sin cabeza y la Chinigua. La Llorona les comentó: "No me da vasto el tiempo para hacer mi trabajo, hay mucha gente que asustar", en esto la bruja de Blancanieves le dice: "Bueno... trata de contratar a una asistente".
La Sayona, quien no se queda atrás, les dice: “Algunas damas del pueblo pidieron conversar conmigo, para ver la posibilidad de que les asuste a sus maridos, ya que les están siendo infiel”. Llegada una de esas noches de espanto, Ana no ha podido descansar, le ha dado una alergia motivada al olor que emanan las diversas plantas con las cuales hacen los brebajes que se están preparando para hacer los conjuros en el gran Congreso.
Adicionalmente, está atemorizada por tanto brujo reunido en el pueblo. Debido a esto, su familia decide enviar a su cuñada Anastasia, quien es mexicana de nacimiento, para que la acompañe, esta era una mujer feísima, pero de un buen corazón. Llegada, está al pueblo, ella le comenta: “En las noches la Llorona no me ha dejado dormir, se la pasa llorando por las calles del pueblo en búsqueda de su hijo perdido”.
Lo que está no sabe es que Anastasia, quien no les teme a los brujos ni a esos especímenes, pues, ella es una “nahual de los mayas”, le dijo: "No te preocupes, esta noche estaré al tanto para ver si pasa por aquí, para conversar con ella”. Esa noche, ni el siguiente paso, nada.

At that moment, the Llorona realizes that Anastasia is more of a witch than she is. And she tells her: "Without scaring Ana, never again! You go as an assistant, the job is that you scare from the right and I from the left!".
La tercera noche, están sentadas las dos en el zaguán de la casa, cuando de repente se escuchó a lo lejos un llanto estremecedor que decía: ¡Mi hijo, mi hijo! Ese que impregna las fibras de cualquier ser da una mezcla de miedo y melancolía. Un frío les recorrió la espalda.
Ana no se podía mover, se le ha entrecortado la respiración, a veces escuchaban la voz cerca y otras veces a lo lejos, —según cuenta la leyenda, cuando ella se encuentra lejos es porque está cerca y viceversa—. En ese momento su cuñada tomó un suspiro, se levanta y le dice: “Ana, voy a salir para ver ¿Qué es lo que pasa?
En eso, cuando abre la puerta y sale hacia la calle, La Llorona venía a lo lejos con un traje blanco y no se le veían los pies, y estando más cerca se topó con ella y cuando esta la vio, se llevó un tremendo susto y le dijo: “Ayyyy mi madre, me asustaste, ¡Muchacha, si eres requeté feísima, casi me da un infarto!”.
En ese momento, la Llorona, se percata que Anastasia es más bruja que ella. Le dice: “Sin asustar a Ana, ¡Más nunca! Vas de asistente, ¡el trabajo es que tú asustas por la derecha y yo por la izquierda!”.
