Hello dear Hivers in the Liketu community, I have continued my journey of hunting for photos of this year’s ripe rice season. And the next destination that I chose was Ngok Linh valley, a beautiful valley located in the Ngoc Linh mountains 1900m above sea level of Tu Mo Rong district.

While most of the rice fields where I live are almost finished. The rice fields in Ngok Linh valley are usually harvested later. You know, the higher the altitude, the later the rice usually ripens. Yesterday I decided to go to Ngok Linh valley to check if the rice is ripe. Most of the fields are still green and only a few fields are starting to turn yellow.

So my hunt for ripe rice in Ngok Linh valley failed. However I was also very pleased with it. At least I know that this is not the right time to take pictures of ripe rice in Ngok Linh valley, and I will definitely come back here in two weeks to witness the brilliant yellow of the rice fields here. Besides, I also took a few photos that I was quite satisfied with. I highly recommend this place for you guys to visit to take beautiful photos of ripe rice season in Vietnam.

I'm so sorry to hear that your hunt for ripe rice in Ngok Linh valley failed. I know how much you were looking forward to taking pictures of the brilliant yellow of the rice fields.

But I'm glad that you're still planning to come back in two weeks. I'm sure that the rice fields will be absolutely stunning by then.

In the meantime, see the photos that you took are beautiful, even though the rice wasn't ripe yet.
