Explore hidden village Kon Vong Kia
Hello dear Hivers in Pinmapple community, today I would like to take you to another village near where I live. About 7km from the center of Mang Den town, Kon Vong Kia is a hidden village, nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains and forests. To get here, we can follow Highway 24 from the center of Mang Den town, then we will see a sign on the left that says turn left into Kon Vong Kia village. Drive about 1km more, we will start to see the village of Kong Vong Kia peeking out behind the pine trees. The village was established here because it is located on a flat piece of land, which is favorable for farming. In addition, the river is also an important factor determining the location of the village.
Although Mang Den is planned to become a tourist town, Kon Vong Kia village still retains its pristine beauty and is little known, which is probably because of its hidden location. The small houses here are mainly built of wood. People here like to build houses facing the river or rice fields and behind the house is the forest or the mountain. In the middle of the village, there is a large communal house where important events of the village are held.
Small rice storage houses are the specialty of this village.
Villagers use suspension bridges to move around in the village.
Villagers earn their living mainly by cultivating rice and other crops such as corn, cassava, sweet potatoes, etc. They also raise buffaloes, cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, etc. In their free time, they also go fishing in rice fields, rivers, streams and go to the forest. In general, they are self-sufficient. Although they have to work hard and live in poor conditions, it makes them live a simple and happy life.
When I entered the village I felt its serenity. The children were playing on the lawns. Adults were working in the fields. The cows and the buffalo were grazing on meadows. The birds were flying over the rice fields to compete for the grain from the farmers. Everything went smoothly and peacefully. I had a great time in that village. If you have a chance to travel to Mang Den, I highly recommend this village to you.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I hope you had a good time exploring Kon Vong Kia village with me. I wish you a good day.

Kon Vong Kia village sounds like a beautiful and peaceful place. I love the fact that it is still relatively unknown, which means that it has been able to retain its pristine beauty. The way you describe the village makes me feel like I am there, and I can almost hear the sounds of the children playing and the birds singing.
I am also impressed by the way the villagers live. They seem to be self-sufficient and content with their simple lives. I think that is something that we can all learn from.
Yes @malos10
I saw and learned many things from the villagers.
I'm happy that you feel like you were with the during the trip.
Wao another great and amazing post by you. All these natural beauty places looks so beautiful and amazing.
Thank you very much for your visit @djbravo
Most welcome dear.
What a scenic village! It's interesting to see the difference between houses in Vietnam and where I am. Our houses are big and sturdy while those there are so tiny and cute 🙂
7 km sounds like a distance for a bicycle. Are there many bicycles in your location?
Thank you for sharing!
