[ENG|ESP] Delicious broccoli cream -Recipe-
I wish you an excellent evening friends of vegan food and desserts, I hope everyone is well in this community #plantpower, today I want to share with you a new recipe; It is a delicious CREAM OF BROCOLI, made with the main ingredients BROCOLI, POTATOES and CARROT.
Broccoli is a totally healthy vegetable because of its high nutritional level and low calorie and carbohydrate content, while potatoes provide micronutrients, and carrots have a high fiber content.
Below I show you the INGREDIENTS and the step by step:
Les deseo una excelente noche amigos de la comida y postres veganos, espero que todos se encuentren bien en esta comunidad #plantpower, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una nueva receta; Se trata de una deliciosa CREMA DE BRÓCOLI, elaborada con los ingredientes principales BRÓCOLI, PAPAS y ZANAHORIA.
El brócoli es una verdura totalmente saludable por su alto nivel nutritivo y con bajo contenido en calorías y carbohidratos, en cuanto a la papa aporta micronutrientes, y la zanahoria, tiene un alto contenido de fibras.
A continuación le muestro los INGREDIENTES y el paso a paso:
PREPARATION-PREPARACIÖN:𝕊𝕖𝕡𝕥 𝕓𝕪 𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕡:ℙ𝕒𝕤𝕠 𝕒 ℙ𝕒𝕤𝕠:
To begin, and after preparing all the ingredients, place the broccoli florets in a container with water, let them soak for 1/2 hour with a splash of vinegar, then rinse with plenty of water, separate and set aside.
Para comenzar, y después de alistar todos los ingredientes, colocamos en un envase con agua el ramillete de brócoli, dejamos remojar por 1/2 hora con un chorrito de vinagre, luego enjuagamos con abundante agua, separamos y reservamos.
On the board we chop the vegetables:
We start with the onion, chop it into small squares.
En la tabla picamos las verduras:
Empezamos con la cebolla, la picamos en cuadrados pequeños.
We continue with the carrot and chop it into sticks, to make it soften faster.
Seguimos con la zanahoria y la picamos en bastones, para facilitar se ablande más rápido.
Add the garlic cloves to the mortar and crush them.
Agregamos al mortero los dientes de ajo y lo machacamos.
Ready our vegetables, turn on the stove, place the pot over medium heat, add two tablespoons of oil, when hot, place the onion, let it crystallize, add the carrot, potato and garlic, stir.
Lista nuestras verduras, encendemos la hornilla, colocamos la olla a fuego medio, agregamos dos cucharadas de aceite, cuando caliente, colocamos la cebolla, dejamos cristalizar, adicionamos la zanahoria, la papa y el ajo, removemos.
After a few minutes add the broccoli florets, season with salt and pepper and stir.
Pasado unos minutos agregamos los ramilletes de brócoli, salpimentamos, removemos.
Add the water, cover the pot and let the vegetables soften for approximately 20 minutes, after which time we check, if ready, transfer the broth to the blender, blend for 2 minutes until a smooth cream is obtained.
Agregamos el agua, tapamos la olla y dejamos que ablanden las verduras por espacio de 20 minutos aproximadamente, pasado el tiempo revisamos, de estar lista, trasladamos el caldo a la licuadora, batimos por espacio de 2 minutos hasta lograr una crema suave.
Add the cream back to the pot, turn on the stove and let it cook for 4 more minutes, add salt and enjoy our delicious broccoli cream.
Agregamos la crema nuevamente a la olla, prendemos la hornilla y dejamos se cocine por 4 minutos más, rectificamos la sal y a disfrutar nuestra deliciosa crema de brócoli.
Our broccoli cream is ready, ideal to eat as a starter for lunch and also for dinner, we can enjoy it as a side dish or alone and enjoy it with a delicious toasted bread, with some small arepitas, or simply alone, it also provides us with plenty of nutrients. Friends, it has a creamy and smooth texture!
This recipe yielded 2 medium cups.

Ya está lista nuestra crema de brócoli, ideal para comer de entrada en el almuerzo y también puede comer en la cena, podemos disfrutarlas como acompañante o sola y degustar con un rico pan tostado, con unas arepitas chiquitas o simplemente sola, igualmente nos aporta bastantes nutrientes. ¡Amigos quedo con una textura cremosa y suave!
Para esta receta salieron 2 tazas medianas.
