My first time pouring silver!!

My brother and I decided to spend 100 dollars and buy a 5 Kg Propane Gas Furnace. We have always wanted to pour some silver. We have watched some youtube videos and that was it.

Last night we cranked the flames and did our first pours It was super fun and we will be doing it again soon I think.

We poured a mando character, a R2D2 character, and the bridge 4 sign from the Branden Sanderson way of kings.

It took way less time that I would have though it would. We poured all these in about 75 minutes from set up to clean up.

Take a look at the picture and let me know what you think.

We really hope to get better at in the future and start pouring our own bars and such. For now though its just learning and growing.

You need to pack the clay must harder to get all the detail. But nice for the first time. Good luck moving forward

Yeah it’s kinda hard to get it packed in. I think it will take. But to get there.

All the pourers use a piece of wood and rubber mallet to compact the clay.

Absolutely amazing work!
I tried to cast the hive logo as a Key Ring a while ago.
But not with silver, would be great to cast a Key Ring from silver, cause than it would have a real Value
