Mudanza del Libérateur: Adiós querido edificio [EN - ES]

En pandemia la semana en la que nadie salía de su casa por miedo a morir contagiado yo me mudé al mejor monoambiente de todos los tiempos en el edificio Libérateur. Por la circunstancia mundial logré un contrato irreal y súper beneficioso durante tres años.

Recientemente mi contrato venció y desde entonces estuve luchando muy ajustado. Dada la situación en Argentina decidí ceder y abandonar el lugar donde fui muy feliz. Aquí les muestro el antes y el después de la mudanza!

Pero ustedes dirán a quien puede importarle tanto cuatro malditas paredes? Y es que no solo perdí eso sino el acceso a mis amados amenities. Asi es. Yo tenía pile, 2 saunas, gimnasio, invitaba amigos y chicas al sauna. Era un lujo asiático que me cayó del cielo en pandemia.

Mis amigos solían invadirme para utilizar todas estas cosas y también porqué no, meter noche de microcine o videojuegos. Con un amigo Acha, somos bastante fans de ver las finales de la NBA y para esto el cine fue perfecto. También para ver algún partido del mundial de fútbol donde Argentina salió campeón. El único momento en el que miro fútbol es el mundial. También contaba con un salón de eventos para hacer reuniones sociales de cualquier tipo, festejé una vez mi cumpleaños allí y hasta vino una banda a tocar.

Me terminó gustando hasta la parte de seguridad del edificio, que era algo que nunca antes había tenido. Me daba fiaca el concepto de tener que saludar todos los días a los distintos seguridades y porteros mala onda, y estar tan monitoreado, es una especie de pérdida de privdacidad. Pero la verdad que habían un par de muy buenas personas, sobre todo destaco a Claudio y no mencionaré a ninguno de los hinchahuevos. Además realmente en el contexto argentino uno termina durmiendo más tranquilo. Recordemos que esto es capital.

Mudarse es una montaña rusa emocional. Empacar cada recuerdo y enfrentarse al caos de cajas puede resultar abrumador. El estrés se apodera mientras intento organizar mi vida en bolsas etiquetadas. Sin embargo, entre el desorden y la ansiedad, encuentro un destello de alivio al recordar que estoy dejando atrás los pagos mensuales de alquiler.

No hay duda de que el proceso es estresante, pero la perspectiva financiera cambia radicalmente. Dejar de pagar alquiler se convierte en el faro de racionalidad en medio de la tormenta de cajas y cintas adhesivas. A medida que empaco, pienso en el ahorro que se acumula y en la libertad financiera que se avecina.

En estas transiciones, aprendo a valorar lo verdaderamente importante en la vida. La comodidad financiera se eleva en la lista de prioridades, pero también la libertad de elegir mi espacio y el sentido de pertenencia. Mudarse puede ser un recordatorio contundente de que, en última instancia, la estabilidad económica y la libertad personal son esenciales para construir una vida con paz.

Aunque el estrés persista entre las cajas y las decisiones logísticas, sé que esta mudanza no solo es un cambio físico, sino una reevaluación de mis prioridades y una inversión en mi bienestar financiero a largo plazo. La práctica de liberarme de las cadenas del alquiler se traduce en abrir puertas a nuevas oportunidades y en la construcción de un futuro más sólido.

Lo que se puede ver aquí es como quedó mi cuarto nuevo apenas descargadas las cosas. Hasta que acomode y reacondicione todo estaré durmiendo mitad del tiempo aquí y mitad en lo de mi pareja.

During the pandemic week when no one left their homes for fear of contagion, I moved to the best studio apartment of all time in the Libérateur building. Due to the global circumstances, I secured an unreal and super beneficial contract for three years.

Recently, my lease expired, and since then, I've been struggling. Given the situation in Argentina, I decided to concede and leave the place where I was very happy. Here, I show you the before and after of the move!

But you might ask, who cares so much about four damn walls? Well, I not only lost that but also access to my beloved amenities. Yes, I had a pool, 2 saunas, a gym, invited friends and girls to the sauna. It was an Asian luxury that fell into my lap during the pandemic.

My friends used to invade to use all these things and also, why not, have a movie night or play video games. With a friend Acha, we are quite fans of watching the NBA finals, and for this, the cinema was perfect. Also to watch some football World Cup matches where Argentina became the champion. The only time I watch football is during the World Cup. I also had an events hall for any type of social gatherings; I once celebrated my birthday there, and even a band came to play.

I ended up liking it up to the building's security part, which was something I had never had before. The idea of having to greet different grumpy security guards and doormen every day, and being so closely monitored, is a kind of privacy loss. But the truth is, there were a couple of really good people, especially Claudio, and I won't mention any of the annoying ones. Also, in the Argentine context, one ends up sleeping more peacefully. Remember, this is the capital.

Moving is an emotional roller coaster. Packing every memory and facing the chaos of boxes can be overwhelming. Stress takes over as I try to organize my life into labeled bags. However, amid the mess and anxiety, I find a glimmer of relief in remembering that I am leaving behind the monthly rent payments.

There's no doubt that the process is stressful, but the financial perspective changes drastically. Stopping rent payments becomes the beacon of rationality in the midst of the storm of boxes and adhesive tapes. As I pack, I think about the savings that accumulate and the financial freedom that lies ahead.

In these transitions, I learn to value what truly matters in life. Financial comfort rises on the priority list, but so does the freedom to choose my space and the sense of belonging. Moving can be a stark reminder that, ultimately, economic stability and personal freedom are essential for building a life with peace.

Although stress persists among boxes and logistical decisions, I know that this move is not just a physical change but a reassessment of my priorities and an investment in my long-term financial well-being. The practice of freeing myself from the chains of rent translates into opening doors to new opportunities and building a more solid future.

What you can see here is how my new room looked just after unloading everything. Until I arrange and recondition everything, I'll be sleeping half the time here and half at my partner's place.
I already feel a huge relief not to have to pay the expenses ever again hahaha!! Greetings to everyone!
