First off, I need to let you know that I always find your articles interesting because I can always relate to them. So, I always look forward to articles from you. However, my views about police officers are a little different. I agree with you to a point that people disrespect police officers. However, 80% of the fault still lies with the police themselves.

It is quite difficult to respect policemen that go around with POS terminals (hope you know what they do with it). And some of them will even escort you to the nearest ATM terminal and check your account balance. And even if many of them are after yahoo boys, remember that they are only after them to take their cut of the booty, and NOT TO UPHOLD the law.

In fact, some bigger yahoo boys have policemen as friends. They settle the policemen regularly and when another set of policemen "carry nose", they'll gladly call their police friends to intervene.

Here's another factor to consider. Some policemen operate after taking some cheap alcohol. They could be tipsy while talking to you. I'll round up my post by saying you were just damn lucky!
