My Draw This In Your Style Challenge Entry : Ponder Critter

Here is a drawing I made as my entry to Draw This In Your Style Challenge Ponder Critter by @boley

I had a lot of fun putting my own spin on the original "Ponder Critter" design. Instead of the original creature, I chose to draw a cute child figure filled with excitement and wonder. This is once again in line with my previous drawing and previous collection I called Nibbors.

I aimed for a clean and eye-catching aesthetic, using bold black lines and rich subdued colors to create a distinct style that makes the image stand out. The reference drawing is focused on the posture which is why it was named so but I could not quite capture the pondering aspect on my drawing so I gave it a little spin. Added a nice hair to the character made it more human like and the posture is leaning more on a reclining figure rather than sitting lazily. I added little details to make it interesting like a screwdriver and pocket to suggest that this could be a mechanic. Further defined the suit to make it look like an overall then added that small green name plate to complete the look🤪

Despite the challenge I encountered about getting the posture to work, I'm really happy with how it turned out, and I hope you all like it too.
