Visiting the Port of Olivos in the Northern Suburban Area [ENG/ESP]
Greetings friends! Today I want to share with you about my visit to the port of Olivos. For several months I wanted to go to this area and visit it since it is an attraction that many photographers show through their photos in the networks. Yesterday I had a couple of hours free and decided to take the train that takes me to the area.
This port is in the northern part of the province of Buenos Aires in the district of Vicente Lopez, the weather was not very favorable for this side of the city, however I particularly prefer these scenarios than a simple blue sky, as I find it more attractive for photography.
Saludos amigos! El día de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes sobre mi visita al puerto de olivos. Desde hace ya varios meses quería ir a esta zona y conocerla ya que es un atractivo que muchos fotógrafos muestran a través de sus fotos en las redes. Ayer tuve un par de horas libres y decidí tomar el tren que me lleva hasta la zona.
Éste puerto queda en la zona norte de la provincia de Buenos Aires en el partido de Vicente López, el clima no fue muy favorable para este lado de la ciudad sin embargo particularmente prefiero estos escenarios que un simple cielo azul, pues me parece más atractivo para la fotografía.
This was the first thing I saw when I arrived at the site, a boating area that I had seen before but not in person.
Esto fué lo primero que ví cuando llegue al lugar, una zona de botes que conocía con anterioridad pero no en persona.
There was only one boat sailing among so many that were parked as the weather and fog was quite heavy.
Solo había un bote navegando entre tantos que estaban estacionados pues el clima y la neblina era bastante pesada.
In this part of the port you can see one of the main restaurants overlooking the Rio de la Plata, many people come to the place to eat and enjoy the good view, despite the weather it was very crowded.
I think it is a good place to stroll, take pictures and walk, contemplate the river while having a drink but there is not much more attractive in itself.
En esta parte del puerto se puede observar uno de los principales restaurantes con vista al río de la plata, muchas personas vienen al lugar a comer y disfrutar de la buena vista, a pesar del clima estaba muy lleno.
Creo que es un buen lugar para pasear, tomar fotos y caminar, contemplar el río mientras tomas algo pero no hay mucho más atractivo en sí.
Fishermen's Club
The fishermen's club of the Olivos neighborhood is located in the surroundings of these boats, being private and only with access to members, it was impossible to enter but you can see in the photos its main facade and the long dock that also offers a particular view to the Rio de la Plata.
El club de pescadores del barrio de olivos se encuentra en los alrededores de estás embarcaciones, siendo privado y solamente con acceso a socios, era imposible poder entrar pero pueden ver en las fotos su fachada principal y el largo muelle que también ofrece una vista particular al río de la plata.
Emphasizing the above mentioned, to enjoy all the activities in the port is necessary to become a member of a club and thus be able to fish, sail. Otherwise it is more of a visual attraction and where you can enjoy the gastronomy of the area. However the view in my opinion is spectacular.
Haciendo hincapié en lo antes mencionado, para poder disfrutar de todas las actividades en el puerto es necesarios hacerse socio de algún club y así poder pescar, navegar. De lo contrario es más un atractivo visual y dónde puedes disfrutar de la gastronomía de la zona. Sin embargo las vista a mi parecer es espectacular.
Finally I walked to the side of the naval prefecture where we found a pier and viewpoint. The fog in this part was much denser and you could not see much, but my idea was to take some good shots and share them with all of you.
This is what the port of Olivos looks like under this scenario, a bit hostile if we are looking for a term, but at the same time attractive. The best of all is that it wasn't cold at all being still winter. Later I promise to dedicate a post of this place in the spring or summer season and offer you a different view and other attractions in the surrounding areas 😊
Para finalizar caminé hacia los lados de la prefectura naval dónde nos encontramos conun muelle y mirador. La neblina en esta parte estaba mucho más densa y no se podía ver mucho, igual mi idea era poder hacer algunas buenas tomas y compartirlas con todos ustedes.
Así se ve el puerto de olivos bajo este escenario un poco hostil si buscamos algún termino pero a la vez atractivo. Lo mejor de todo es que no había nada de frío siendo aún invierno. Más adelante prometo dedicar un post de este lugar en la temporada de primavera o verano y ofrecerles una vista diferente y otros atractivos en la zonas aledañas 😊
