Street, Reflections and People | Monomad Challenge [ENG/ESP]
This is the last series of this theme, a tour of the Recoleta neighborhood in the city of Buenos Aires that left me very good results and satisfied with the captures I made in this area of the city, where the reflections were my main objective taking advantage of the calm after the rain, leaving a very cloudy sky which was perfect for my composition or what I had in mind.
I always choose as my cover photo the shot that I liked but it was difficult at this moment. That man walking on the bridge in black and white and reflected in the water has been my choice but I must mention that the second photo has its charm as it is a special scene (for me). A lady in a coat and further on a couple and the child running while on the left side part of the majestic law school building is shown, it is something interesting to see.
Ésta es la última serie de esta temática, un recorrido por el barrio de Recoleta en la ciudad de Buenos Aires que me dejó muy buenos resultados y satisfecho con las capturas que hice en esta zona de la ciudad, dónde los reflejos fueron mi principal objetivo aprovechando la calma después de la lluvia, dejando un cielo muy nublado lo cual era perfecto para mí composición o lo que tenía en mente.
Siempre elijo como foto de portada la toma que me me ha gustado pero se ha hecho difícil en este momento. Ese hombre caminando sobre el puente en blanco y negro y reflejado en el agua ha sido mi elección pero debo mencionar que la segunda foto tiene su encanto, ya que es una escena especial (para mí). Una dama con abrigo y más adelante un pareja y el niño que está corriendo mientras que del lado izquierdo se muestra parte del majestuoso edificio de la facultad de derecho, es algo interesante de ver.
Here I tried to take a shot of the facade of the subway station and although there was not much water on the ground I was able to capture some reflections and compose this image. You can see part of one of the bushes that abound in the area.
Not all the reflections usually come out well, it all depends on the angle and the clarity of the water, if we have a lot of material there, cloudy water we would not have an ideal result, although sometimes depending on what we want it could be useful.
Acá intenté hacer una toma de la fachada de la estación de subterráneo y aunque no tenía gran cantidad de agua en el suelo pude captar algunos reflejos y componer esta imagen. Se puede observar parte de uno de los arbustos que abundan en la la zona.
No todos los reflejos suelen salir bien, todo depende del ángulo y de la claridad que haya en el agua, si tenemos mucho material allí, agua turbia no tendríamos un resultado ideal, aunque algunas veces dependiendo de lo que queramos podría servir.
I tried to take another picture from another angle, this time from the side, there were leaves on the ground that I decided to include in the image as well as the person standing there looking at his phone. I thought it could be an attractive image.... What do you think?
Intenté hacer otra foto desde otro ángulo, en esta oportunidad desde el costado, habían hojas en el suelo que decidí incluir en la imagen así como la persona que se encuentra parada mirando su teléfono. Pensé que podría ser una imagen atractiva... ¿Que opinan ustedes?
The station where I was is called "Facultad de Derecho", it is the last station of the subway line H and it is limited or surrounded by the entrance of Thays park, between the park and the station there is this structure that I don't really know its use, it has a huge tree in the center and many people usually go up to admire and appreciate the landscape from there, I don't think it was built just for that, it must have another more important use.
La estación donde me encontraba se llama "Facultad de Derecho", es la última estación de la línea H del subterráneo y está limitada o rodeada por la entrada del parque Thays, entre el parque y la estación se encuentra está estructura que realmente no se su uso, tiene un enorme árbol en el centro y muchas personas suelen subir para admirar y apreciar el paisaje desde allí, no creo que se haya construido solo para eso, debe tener otra utilidad más importante.
The truth is that I liked this reflection, I think it was well placed, so I decided to take two shots with different focal lengths, in front of the structure, from the place where I took the pictures is the subway station and behind the park I mentioned before.
Lo cierto es que este reflejo si me gustó, pienso que estaba bien ubicado, así que decidí hacer dos tomas con diferente distancia focal, frente de la estructura, desde el lugar donde tomé las fotos está la estación del subterráneo y detrás el parque que mencioné anteriormente.
To finish a photo with some low, flush with a culvert. I don't know, many times I usually look for some quite rare or uncommon ones but always looking for something different, I don't like the common in anything I do 😅
Here we have the building out of focus while part of this culvert if in focus, looking for lines and reliefs.

Para finalizar una foto con alguno bajo, al ras de una alcantarilla. No lo sé, muchas veces suelo buscar algunos bastante raros o y poco comunes pero siempre buscando hacer algo diferente, no me gusta lo común en nada de lo que hago 😅
Acá tenemos el edificio desenfocado mientras que parte de esta alcantarilla si está enfocada, buscando líneas y relieves.

En la zona elevada con el árbol y el reflejo del agua se genero un efecto extraño en el reflejo, al menos yo al observarlo, me marea jajaja es como que esta desfasado y me encanta que una imagen pueda transmitir esa sensación.
