Street Photography - Plaza de Mayo, Buenos Aires.
Plaza de Mayo, Buenos Aires.
Plaza de Mayo is one of the most interesting areas for street photography, we have everything here, beautiful urban landscapes, classic architecture of great value, places and buildings that are part of the history of Argentina, in fact today is the independence day here and coincidentally these photos were taken yesterday without thinking about it, so coincidentally it is quite appropriate.
Although not based on history, this obviously relates to street photography and the moments captured yesterday behind the lens.
The weather in the city has been quite harsh these last few days, we are experiencing a cold snap that puts you to sleep. I have lived through many winters here but this one seems to be quite different and particular. It has been difficult to go out to the streets in search of some good shots, because the weather doesn't help much.
There are still some vestiges of autumn in the leaves of the trees. In the background one of the subway entrances, Bolivar station line E and some people walking... You can see the cold on their faces?
General view of the Casa Rosada, the government house of the city of Buenos Aires.
Entrance and main façade of the city's metropolitan cathedral, some flags are seen there. It is very normal to see this, since this is a place chosen for demonstrations and protests of different political parties, such as the Plaza de Mayo and the Casa Rosada.
The subway sign, near the Bolivar station. You have some signs for other lines such as A, D, E. Where train combinations or transfers can be made.
In one of the side streets, you can see the architecture from the beginning of the last century, among these buildings one stands out with its large dome. I really liked the light in that area at that time.
The same street but from another perspective. A bus line comes in front while other people walk down this street.
A delivery man waiting for the traffic light to change.
The emblematic Avenida de Mayo and the entrance to the Perú subway station. I thought about coming another day and dedicating some photos to the most attractive areas of this avenue or at least one of the sections.
That's all folks! Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
