Street Night Shots - Florida Pedestrian Street, Buenos Aires.

DSC_0034.jpg

This is a second series of street photography at night, a second part that I selected to share in color, the first set I shared with you a few days ago in black and white. Although the obelisk is not part of or is not on this street, it can be seen as you cross Roque Saenz Peña Avenue to go to the other side of this pedestrian street. I was lucky enough to see a beautiful and picturesque sunset at that time, so I took some photos.

Here you can also see part of the sunset from Florida Street, some decorative lamps and people crossing the avenue.

I looked for some areas illuminated with different tones, such as the subway station and the lights from local screens reflected on the avenue.

This street is very popular because it is a shopping area, there are also many informal vendors, stores, exchange houses, the Argentine airlines company and others. I was reading a little about this and I found that it has been pedestrianized since 1913 but only in some sections, It was not until approximately 1970 that it was decided to prohibit the circulation of vehicles in its entirety, Although I currently see motorcycles and bicycles circulating, not cars

Let's take a look at some of the people who walk this street at night.

It's a nice area for street photography, very lit and aesthetically attractive although it is not a very safe area. At the moment when I was taking some photos, a person approached me to tell me to be careful with the camera as they could steal it.

This also happened to me yesterday in a different neighborhood during the afternoon... It seems increasingly unsafe to walk with a valuable object in your hand.

I still take a little risk, tie the camera strap on my wrist and be careful around me.

Here, some cars on Roque Saenz Peña Avenue 👇🏻

I'm also trying to change my style of street photography a little, in terms of what I capture and the way I do it, plus the type of editing. It's time to make some change and explore something different.

On this walk I used the 85 mm lens.

Lately I have been very attracted to vehicles, motorcycles, cars and bicycles. At an aperture of f1.8 I can get very interesting shots.

It has been a very busy week, I have gone out to take photos in different neighborhoods and I have obtained very good material, which is related to a more Moody style, in terms of editing. I hope to be able to develop this with consistency and adopt new forms of photography, an attempt to change the vision of streets and objects to be portrayed.

So, what did you think of this second color set? It will be a pleasure to read you :)
