Portraits on the Balcony

Greetings friends! Continuing with the boudoir, sensual or erotic theme, today I bring you some pictures I took with Odemara at the Hugo Del Carril mansion in Buenos Aires city. These portraits are part of the last production of this year, where I also had the opportunity to work with another model, photos that I shared a couple of days ago, it was a 3 hours session with very interesting results.

As I mentioned before, this is a very striking mansion, for its style and furniture, however when I do sessions in the same location I try to do work that looks a little different, other corners, other angles and other ideas.

I had already taken some photos in the big windows of this place but this time I decided to open them and do some tests on the balcony, taking advantage of the fact that we had a tree in front or in the background in the case of the shots, some branches could be seen and this would give us different results to the ones I have already had in this house.

On the other hand, I also wanted to try a different editing style in postproduction, I wanted these photos with warmer tones without much contrast, the opposite of what I usually do or the editing style of my preference, I wanted less shadows, less lighting and softer tones.

This was at the beginning of the whole production which I always consider the first photos as a kind of test to try out the camera settings, locations, light and some angles, luckily most of the time these photos result in something positive and allow me to share them with you and on my social media.

The model's work is always great, especially with her, there is a lot of trust, very good communication about everything, ideas, perspectives, what objects we can use, we work very well together and it is difficult to get proactive models with that kind of predisposition.

From the beginning I wanted to share these in black and white, then I was trying to edit them in the way I mentioned and I decided for the second option. Finally I thought it would be ideal to share them also in black and white so you can see how they look in both editing styles and you can have different opinions and a wider point of view.

So, here is a comparison of these colour and black and white photos. I want to mention that you can see changes in the editing in black and white because I do it separately, there I accentuate the shadows, contrasts, lighting and specific areas.
