Portrait Friday w/ Cami - Monomad Challenge.
These last two weeks have been a lot of photographic work and also work, I sleep late and wake up very early, even so I have not been able to fully edit the photos I took with Camila. This process has already been very slow this time but at the same time it has positive aspects, since I have much more attention and details when editing.
That session was really good, there is still a lot of material to share but today I want to share a pretty interesting set with you. Some portraits that were very spontaneous, natural, without much planning.
I had the idea of playing a little with the bed sheets, I had already seen reference photos and it seemed like a good idea. In this sense it could obtain different results and transmit something more than sensuality, being something more intimate, fresh, tender, just woke up? Maybe...
In the middle of a pause to change lenses and position the Softbox, I had the idea of taking some shots with the towels in the room. I thought we could do a theme like she was getting out of the shower.
She thought it was a very good idea, so we started doing some tests that ended up very well.
Always before a session I look at some references, other photos of that genre or style from other photographers. I have the main idea in mind but then I always try to make the atmosphere, the angles and what I can convey different.
It's a small obsession with doing things different from others but starting from a base.
She, for her part, helped a lot with all the compositions, ideas and posing in her own way. I like that at all times she seems to be relaxed, enjoying what she does. I think the idea of the curved towel on the back of the back was his, I'm not really sure.
From the beginning I imagined this set in black and white, it was necessary to express it in the absence of colors. There are many more photos from this session that I will share with you.
Below I leave you a bonus shot to finish. I hope you liked it ;)
That's all folks. Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
