People and Architecture - Monomad Challenge.
It's nice to go back to the same places and take some photos of the beautiful architecture of the city, there are always different shots and unique moments to capture. Plaza de Mayo it's one of those places. Here we can appreciate everything, enjoy the day, the afternoon, walk or sit and chat with a friend.
It's also walking in the same place where there is a lot of history.
We can find many domes, towers of buildings that are worth appreciating and detailing.
It was a Saturday, there was a lot of people, it was almost spring and everyone was already going out to sunbathe, no more winter jackets. The days are very beautiful in this season in Buenos Aires.
This is a shot from the Plaza de Mayo obelisk, which is closed for its care, you can see part of the front facade of the pink house.
Part of the front façade of the metropolitan cathedral and some people around it. Look at those columns, I'm excited about the idea of taking some portraits there too but I think at night it would be cooler.
Among the bushes of the Plaza de Mayo and its surroundings, in the center we see the tower of the legislature palace.
Here are two photos of one of the corners, I don't remember exactly this building, I took a closer photo to appreciate the details. I think it is an example of French style architecture.
Well, it seems to me that I wasn't the only one taking photos of these urban landscapes and buildings in the area :)
Some people crossing the square and the pink house in the background, I love how you can see the Argentine flag in the background.
This is the upper part of the municipal palace, this time I wanted to emphasize only the windows and balconies, I thought it was a good idea to include these branches in the composition.
One of the things that catches my attention is capturing people walking along the pedestrian crossing, a gentleman on a bike at that moment and the metropolitan cathedral in the background.
This is the obelisk of the Plaza de Mayo, surrounded by a structure but it was not always like this. After the vandalism they have decided to do this, just like with the obelisk on 9 de Julio Avenue.
A short walk of a few minutes around this square to get these shots. I hope some of them are interesting to some of you.
I hope to have the time available to go back and do some blue hour shots and some long exposure shots as well. I think it would be more interesting to appreciate this way and also somewhat different.
I hope you had a great weekend. A hug for everyone and take care!
That's all folks. Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
