Getting to Know the Flea Market of Palermo, Buenos Aires [ENG/ESP]
Greetings friends! I hope you are very well, I am very excited to post today about a market I visited in the Palermo neighborhood of the city of Buenos Aires. It is the flea market very popular and well known in the neighborhood and also in the federal capital, so complying with the #MarketFriday by @dswigle let's start to develop what this place.
It is literally a place where you can find everything from a pencil to a motorcycle. It is very crowded by the people who live in the place and by others who live in the surrounding area and offer excellent quality products ranging from used items or new items that are even manufactured in the establishment.
Saludos amigos!
In the photos I show you in this section you can see part of the place and part of some of the stalls offering products such as paintings, which there is a lot of this, plates with decorations and even a real record player in good working order, in addition there are also vinyls of different musical styles. There is something that caught my attention and that is that it is very organized within what we could see as disorder, all over the aisles are exhibitions of products accumulated as would people who tend to be compulsive shoppers and accumulators, but still within a certain order.
You find books, televisions, chairs, mannequins, carts and even in a secluded section a decorative items store that is responsible for making lamps such as palace style, as you see in one of these photos, with prices ranging from $ 150 u$d to $ 500 u$d.
The flea market opened its doors in 1988 and today has 34 years of operation offering products of different categories. In this part we have a place that would drive crazy the photography lover because they expose items such as cameras of different times of rolls and different brands, in the same place you can find things to decorate a bar or a special place in your home.
Pictures, old signs that worked in the city with names of streets or avenues, antique clocks, posters of some brands of different past decades among many other things. To go through the whole place I think it is necessary at least 3 hours or more, if you want to look carefully at each of the shops and products.
Finally I show you another section of the place where you can see for sale products that represent cultures of other countries in this case China, they have for sale items such as sculptures, lamps, home decorations and even historical giant coins. In addition to this in a separate local antique masks and children's items among an infinite number of things that surely miss the attention of any visitor.
Without further ado, the question is what do you think of the flea market located in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires? Leave me your comment and tell me about it 😃 I send a hug to all of you and a warm greeting to @dswigle 🤗

Friend @dimascastillo90 this is a report worthy of a specialised magazine, excellent set of photos. A lovely place... It must be a sublime experience to walk through all its chinks and cracks. Excellent post, very good work. Thanks for sharing.
Dear friend @jlinaresp it is a pleasure for me to notice how you liked the post and the place, it is quite an interesting experience to be in there and look at everything they expose for sale. In a way you even travel back in time so to speak, seeing all this. Thanks for your sincere support my friend. Greetings and blessings to you 🙂

What a wonderful market, and to see how they present it all. Beautiful place.
I love those metal plates. Especially when they are older / antiques not the newly made ones. Hehe
Have a wonderful day today 👋🏻☀️
Helloo @littlebee4 how are you, glad you liked the place, well I loved it so much I wanted to take everything hahaha I'm a big fan of old or antique stuff 😃 have a great day you too. Thanks for commenting 😁
Hello @dimascastillo90 👋🏻😁 I’m good thank you, hope you are too.
I love places like this. I never buy new furniture. I either build it myself or buy antiques/ furniture at second hand places and fix them up. Sand and paint it to my liking.
Such a better way than only buy new.
I so know what you mean, you wanted to buy all hahaha
You are welcome!
It's better that way and I think that way we give a different kind of value to things. And... I will soon buy everything hahaha Greetings 😊
Yes, it does give a different value to it all 🤩

Buenas vibras 🖖🏼
I love flea markets!! This one was especially nice and the aisles are nice and wide with room to walk by without the merchandise grabbing you. The chandeliers were pretty nice, the crystal one looks just like the one I have hanging here. :)
I am a fan of old street signs, well, especially if they belong to my street. I am not a fan of fake antiques, something manufactured to look old, but, is not. That is an amazing wall of cameras! Are there many flea markets in Buenos Aires? I would probably take double the three hours to get through! What did you buy? :)
Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday! I cannot tell you how pleased I am to see so many participating every week. I have learned so much about the different cultures of the world, especially the small things that go unnoticed except by those looking for them. Life is interesting, wherever you are, whatever you are doing. I hope the week has found you healthy and happy, as we all look to prosper in our way of life.
#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
