The Millionaire with No Money
Being a millionaire is something we all have the potential for. Some of us were fortunate to achieve it at an early stage - maybe in our twenties - some of us later in our lives, while some of us are still in the process of trying to get there. But the core of the issue is that we all have the potential to become millionaires and even more.
This is even without huge capital. And no, this isn't about 'starting small', but about our abilities to analyze and understand our surroundings and the people in it. But the sad truth is that very many of us will never get to that point. That's why there are very few rich and very many poor.
The rich always see others (especially the poor), as a market that they can sell a product or service to in order to collect even the little that they have. They see everything as an opportunity for investment, while the poor consume everything that they see, and that is where the difference lies.
The main track in getting to the millionaire point is in understanding the product-market fit. This simply means that to make money all you need to do is find a group of people (market), who have demonstrated a certain level of desire (hunger), for a particular result (solution).
It sounds very simple because it's just that simple and not very complicated. There will always be a people, they'll always have a desire, and they'll always need someone to satisfy that desire. All you just have to do is give them what they want (even if they don't need it), well packaged and advertised, then sit down and watch your dough get baked.
There's a very simple model for getting this done and it's called the PPSM model. Which means People => Product => Solution => Money. The most important question here is 'What are the problems people are facing?'
So the first step is to not just determine what their problem is, but which particular one to solve. This is because people will always have many problems. There are lots of problems around us waiting for someone to spot them and work towards proffering solutions to them.
Just as a quick tip, sometimes the easiest way to spot a problem that needs an immediate solution is in personal experience. What was that situation you passed through and found very hard to find a solution to? Or what are those problems you, your friends, or family members went through that the solution was very scarce?
That might just be the answer to your financial needs. What if thousands of others are also currently facing that same problem and are looking for that solution you eventually found? You can explore and exploit that solution for them at their convenience and make money out of it.
For example, maybe you were obese and you eventually found a tea that helped you lose weight without leaving you with uncomfortable side effects. Thousands of people all over the world are also battling obesity and are looking for a solution without side effects.
Or maybe there was that stubborn acne that just simply refused to go away but you eventually found a cream that wiped it without leaving a spot behind. Many people are also going through that same problem and need that cream. What are you doing about it?
Many at times, it's not the money that is the problem, but our inability to spot money-making opportunities that are littered all around us. Even as you are reading this post now, you may be sitting on such a goldmine without knowing. All you need is extra observation and sometimes inner exploration to identify these goldmines.
Somewhere within you, you have something or information that people would pay to access. All you just have to do is package it well and sell it to them. It might not necessarily be a product, but also a service. All you just need to do is identify who needs it, develop it, and then sell it to them because, at the end of the day, everyone has something to sell.
Always keep the PPSM model handy, because the money you want is with other people (some of them around you). The solution to their problems is with you. Offer them the solution and they'll give you their money. It's as simple as trade by barter.
