Robert Smith spoke about the band's retirement. Fans can rest assured because retirement is not imminent. They have pending the presentation of their next album "Songs of a Lost World" of which they have already released a song. The tour will follow that. But Robert Smith said 2029 may be the band's retirement year. Year that will mark 50 years since the release of the first album. They still have a lot of time ahead of them but retiring after 50 years of experience would be great for them, it shouldn't be easy to stay in force for 50 years.

Van Gogh's Ear is left without its singer again. 17 years ago, Amaia Montero, the band's singer, announced to the world that she was leaving the band to follow her path as a solo artist. Now exactly the same thing happened. Its current singer, Leire Martínez, announced that she is leaving the band. I don't think it's the end of the group, they will surely get another singer and continue as they have already done. It is a band with many followers. The band has 34 years of experience and the two singers were there for 17 years each, which is no surprise. The group has fans that it must continue to work for. It will take them a while to recover from the blow but they will surely do it again.

Tienen pendiente la presentación de su próximo disco "Songs of a Lost World" del cual ya adelantaron una canción. A eso le seguirá la gira. Pero Robert Smith dijo que 2029 puede ser el año de retiro de la banda. Año que se cumplirán 50 años desde el lanzamiento del primer disco. Todavía les queda mucho tiempo por delante pero retirarse desde de 50 años de traectoria sería genial para ellos, no debe ser facil mantenerse 50 años vigentes.
