Fiz uma visita a Vila Ferroviária de Paranapiacaba onde está acontecendo o 22º Festival de inverno. Para chegar até a o local foi fácil e barato, peguei o trem da linha 10 – Turquesa até a estação Rio Grande da Serra que durou 30 minutos, chegando lá peguei um ônibus para Paranapiacaba que durou 10 minutos.

Chegando no local me deparei com uma belíssima imagem da vila que foi construída em 1860 para abrigar os funcionários para construção da ferrovia que ligava a cidade de Santos a cidade de Jundiai. O vilarejo fica no alto da Serra do Mar rodeado pela Mata Atlântica, com um acervo histórico que é tombado pelos conselhos de patrimônio.

Na estação tem um relógio de meados de 1898 da marca Johnny Walker, de Londres, ele regulava os horários dos trens e a entrada de saída de funcionários. O relógio da estação é o único monumento que restou após o incêndio da estação de trem, sendo restaurado em 2003.

O lugar é um fantástico para passear no final de semana com a família e se divertir tento um dia diferente da cidade cheia de prédio e asfalto que não nos deixar ver as belezas que ficam tão próximo da gente.

I visited Vila Ferroviária de Paranapiacaba, where the 22nd Winter Festival is taking place. To get to the place it was easy and cheap, I took the train line 10 – Turquesa to the Rio Grande da Serra station which lasted 30 minutes, getting there I took a bus to Paranapiacaba which lasted 10 minutes.

Arriving at the place, I came across a beautiful image of the village that was built in 1860 to house employees for the construction of the railroad that connected the city of Saimpntos to the city of Jundiai. The village is at the top of Serra do Mar surrounded by the Atlantic Forest, with a historical collection that is listed by the heritage councils.

At the station, there is a clock from mid-1898 by Johnny Walker, from London, which regulated the train schedules and the entry and exit of employees. The station clock is the only monument left after the train station fire, being restored in 2003.

The place is a fantastic place to go out on the weekend with the family and have fun, try a different day in the city full of buildings and asphalt that do not let us see the beauties that are so close to us.
