SATURDAY SAVERS CLUB Update - HPUD DECEMBER 2024, THE SMALLEST AND THE HARDEST

Greetings Everyone.

This is a unique post for me, because I am making this post as a combination of my #saturdaysavers post, Hive Power Up Day #HPUD post, and #decemberinleo prompt post. Well after several trials, I could not make this one as something readable, so I will focus on my #saturdaysavers theme here.

Today is a weird day for me. I have been trying to get my HIVE in for 14 hours and all effort have failed. So I choose to do my last resort, is to sell all liquid $HBD I have, then sell some tokens in HIVE-ENGINE to get the remaining HIVE to reach at least 10 HP.

And Foila... I made it on time

there, 10 HP... I even withdrew 1 swap.hive to round to it.

Today was a sick one for sure. I tried to top up to my exchange, and my bank account got blocked. I could fix that tomorrow, but Power Up must be today, so I had to find something to fund my HIVE purchase.

I did manage to gete 50 $USDT, that's cool didn't it? I could get 100 HIVE POWER (HP) from it, and somehow the UI of my exchange, TOKOCRYPTO, had been glitching all day and I could not even see any chart for the HIVE/USDT. God Damn It!!

I had some thought about borrowing 10 HIVE form other hivers too, but I came to a conclusion that I should do this myself, without someone else help. So I sold my $HBD and sold some $LEN tokens, and finally I managed to get the minimum 10 $HIVE for the 10 HP value or Power Up.

Normally we write about why HP is important during in HPUD post. But due to this situation, I will make it different, I will share here why I push my self to join HPUD every month.

Engagement

You can do HIVE Power Up anytime, people will notice too your HP (hive power) will be risen. However things are not that way during HPUD. When everyone doing Power Up together on a certain period, people will notice it... Most important is that small users and new onboarded will see this.

When they see this, it is the right moment we say why increasing your HP is important, telling them what kind of benefit they could get from having good amount of HP, and many more.

It's what I say engagement, you will create better engagement on HIVE POWER rather than doing it yourself anytime.

Setting Up Example, or Lead By Example

I don't like telling people to do something but myself isn't doing that too. People might say it is lead by example, but I like to say it as setting up example. If we want people to do good, our own self must do the good first.

The bitter truth is that many big users, or famous users, or you might say they are hive stewards are actually not a good example. They were just richer and could buy more HIVE, and by the fate, they came into this blockchain earlier than most of us. No need to spill any name of them, some already know, who do not know will know too later.

Rather than complain about them, better we join hand trying to make HIVE a better place to be by doing some good, which one of them is keeping up our HIVE POWER.

Commitment

This is one of the essence of #saturdaysavers club. We are committed to get our saving goals, they are goals anyway, something we aim and we put many effort to get those. Big goal or big target is not achieved by single step, sometime we need many small steps do achieve that... and participating in HPUD could be one of those small steps.

MY HIVE GOALS : HIVE POWER (HP)

My primary goal is to grow my Hive Power as good as possible. A goal must have a target so I have decided that my primary goal is to reach 11.500 Hive Power (HP).

My goal is to have 11.500 HP this year, not an easy one but of course it is very possible. Let's start this one by checking my HP Growth recap right now:

We are here now on the fourth quarter of 2024. My third quarter was actually a lot better than the previous two quarter, however it was not enough to cover the deficit that occurred on those previous two quarters.

1600 HP to go... It seems impossible for me regarding $HIVE price keeps rising

I am very exhausted today, so I will keep this short. I do not think I will manage to get 11.500 HP, there are already occurring serial bad situation that keep draining my money away from HIVE. Well I am not taking any $HIVE out, but what should be taken in, were consumed for other cost.

Well there are 4 weeks left, I guess I will try my best and get as high as I could.

THE HBD (HIVE BACKED DOLLAR)

Earlier I dumped all my liquid $HBD, as I said above, I have trouble to get some HIVE in due to various reasons.

I sold almost 2 $HBD to get 10 HIVE which was the minimum requirement for today HPUD.

MY SECONDARY TARGET : SECOND LAYER TOKENS ~ LEO

My secondary saving targets are HIVE second layer tokens, and at this moment my secondary saving target is $LEO token and my goal this year is to get 1.000 LEO Power (LP). LP stands the same as Hive Power (HP), which means the staked $LEO.

I have 62 liquid $LEO right now, and I need 150 $LEO for LEO POWER UP DAY later on 15th December 2024. I still have 14 days left, and it is not easy to get 90 $LEO within 14 days. Literally I need around 6,5 to 7 $LEO per day to cover it.

I guess I might have to buy some later, near the LPUD.

Nothing changes significantly on this part, all of them are growing organically. I did stake some $NEOXAG, but that's not something that I intended to do. It's more of a person dumped their stash, and it hit my buy wall.
