L77 Matty McRise, My Newest Legendary Collection

I think I haven't made any #risingstar post for more than two months. Thanks to @stickupboys recent post here , I get some feeling that I should make some updates too. Well, it's a good engagement to the game, and hopefully my silly posting could enlighten some fellow Rising Star players about how they should play this game.

Honestly I am very bad at gaming cosmetics. look at my profiling there, I am still using OLD BLUD S44 as my main picture, it is a seasonal card from 2022, 2 years ago. I bet other players already using 2024 edition cards.

However that S44 Old Blud was special for me. It's the first seasonal event that I took some participation in. Mostly I just ignore those events and keep on gathering $starbits.

However I am only bad at comestics, well you can check my rank up there. I am not talking about my bad cosmetic on my rank, which I haven't got any outfit for my avatar there. He is naked only wearing a boxer. Well atleast I have @beststart and @wilsonramirez10 joining the naked club there.

The main thing I want to say there is that no matter how bad my ingame look, I am always lurking in top 100. Yes sometime I get thrown out to rank 100-110 zone, but sometime like today I get higher. Those two guys I poke above, I believe they are Leaderboard challenger too.

So here is the deal, some people in #risingstar game are actually trying to get some rewards from leaderboard rank, such as us here. Getting the more $starbits from mission is not our priority anymore. Some trying to make fortune from music promotor, you know that $STARPRO business. There are people who focus on RAVE only, and there are some cards-packs flippers.

I can not say which one is the best nor which are the good ones. Everything is good, as long you enjoy doing it. I know some cards flipper who makes hundreds HIVE regularly from buying packs then selling them. But I know some people who always lose in opening packs LoL. So it's more like you seek into yourself, what kind of people or player you want to be in this game.

BUYING A LEGENDARY CARD

If you ask me, will this bring any good? it depends on what is your goal. If you want to push up your stats by spending less, buy more packs then open it. You can check my old #risingstar packs opening, all of them led to more economical value opening packs give you rather than buying a Legendary card.

Buy getting a new Legendary Card, I will get a unique card and many IM point in my stats. That would boost my rank in Leaderboard and this way is actually not a sure better one than buying many cards. In pushing up your Leaderboard rank, you need to do many things at the same time. Play more time, get more unique, push cards volume.

And definitely you can not rely on one way only. You must go for all way you can do.

as I write this post, there are two good options for my new Legendary card collection. first one is L72 Gimme and the second one is L77 Matty McRise. It seems that @trentonlundy1 is giving them out with a good discounted price, I bet he is preparing for the new card days on 1st November 2024.

Price wise, I am dumb to prefer L77 Matty McRise over L72 Gimme. Gimme has more fans, so it is better right? Well the thing is that for people who are lurking in leaderboard, individual card numbers sometime do not matter anymore.

In this case, 5000, 7000. 9000, ot maybe 3500 do not make any different for me. I only aim for an Unique card and it's IM value, which in this case actually L77 Matty Rise is a better option. Matty has higher IM value, 25 point higher than Gimme's.

Another consideration for me is that I haven't optimized my account for EGO. Once a while, maybe every 4-6 weeks, I do account EGO optimization. I might swap $STARBITS for $STARPRO then do some music lessons. I could do bulk buying on Rare People Card which have higher skill number than their fans number. Either way, every two months I need to do one of them atleast once.

Buying L77 Matty McRise wont solve this, however it could help me do less budgeted Skill Purchase. So Overall it is still better option than L72 Gimme
