This is one of my regular weekly Splinterlands post. In this opportunity I am sharing you all what my alternative account have been doing recently.

Well honestly it is not my account, I borrow it from Bulldog1205, our famous streamer who loves to share his Splinterland journey. Initially this was a Scholarship account, but as the scholarship project closes down without predetermined timeline, so I am free to use it as I like.

No Target and No Pressure at all, of course without any significant support which mean I could only use some Gold level Chaos Legion cards... and they are not a full set one, some are missing.

RUNNING BRAWL

One of the main event I like in Splinterlands is BRAWL. Most of the time I feel so bored with Rank Battle and I start to think some people take these rank battles as their job, not some battle they should feel fun with. And Personally I do not run rank battle everyday, sometime I only do 10-20 battles for 3-4 days, just for fun and practices my memory so I won't be dull.

So if people ask me how they should do their rank battle, well I am not the right guy for it. Instead of asking about it, I am more interested in getting people participating Brawl.

Brawl is around biweekly, twice in 8 days. For some people like me, I get most of my SPS rewards from my brawls, and I know some do not. Some get their most from Tournaments, and some from Rank Battles.

So for @blackkrrsantan , I have wondered around and landed on this Spaceballs The Guild, I think clove71 is the one who leads and owns this guild. Spaceballs is not at the highest competitive tiers and they are not low tiers too, so right in the middle. So I guess it is suitable for casual players like me.

This is my recent brawl in this guild. I have won 8 and lost 1, it looked like I was bullying a noob right? Well it did not, look at the tag line for Spaceballs Guild:

NOOBS NOT ALLOWED

So I expect my guild-mate and opponents should not be noobs too.

Look, Spaceballs guild is on rank 5, we are not in top 3. I guess in general we are the one who get bullied.

I will be sticking around here until my guild leadership decide to replace me, or maybe I get bored and wondering out again. This account is not supposed to hit the top, so I have no urgency to do anything here.

Grinding Soulbound

In my opinion, an Account can be upgraded not by buying cards, but more on getting the soulbounds. It's still debatable, because I see this as a form of centralized, so not quite sure it is perfect for splinterlands because most people want it to maintain "PRICE" only.

However I do not wish to hold any discussion about it, as long it still can deliver some fun, why not? So here I will share what I have got for my soulbound or let say it grinding the soulbound.

Basically soulbound comes in two type, reward cards and gladius or gladiator cards. I have been talking about rewards cards for the last few weeks, from regular draws, gold foil draws, and some more, so let me talk about gladius pack now.

There isn't any significant change in my Gladiator sets, and I guess I have to keep relying on my epic-legendary sets here:

It's still a long way to go, none of them reach gold level cap yet. This will be another good reason why I should play this account.

HIGHLIGHTED BATTLE

It won't be a good Splinterlands post if we have not seen any battle there. So this is the battle I want to share for this post, a brawl battle from my recent one which was the only lose I got in that brawl.

So because this is a lose one, I will share this quickly because I have no excitement telling people how miserable great I could lose

• The battle started with both side buffing themselves and debubffing their opponent. However in this battle, things went differently. It is a battle of Weapon Training, both of us relied on that ability.
• They came with 5 magic damage per round.
• My team had 2 range damage and 6 magic damage, so our team had a total 8 damage per round.
• Based on that number, I should win this battle because my firepower was more than twice of theirs. But hey, I lost this one, did I?

• Nothing significant happened in round 1. However in this round, both of us lost a unit.

• This was the round 3. From this point I could say I already lost this battle. Why?

• Because their merdaali guardian kept healing their tank with 3 health point and two armor point repair. Technically I could no longer able to kill that tank.

• Even until round 7, their tank still like that. So Good Game, I lost because I could not kill their tank.

Grimbardun Smith was that tank, it's an idle non attacking tank with superb protection. He has void, he has shield, he has immunity, so we can say he has the sturdiness that a tank should has.

Is the the strongest one? That would be a long deep debate, because we still have Baakjira and others that are no less than him. However in the era of Weapon Training, and I believe there will be more units with weapon training, a non attacking tank is getting highly demanded.

This also explains why Grimbardun Smith prices is well maintained. Some said because it is a promo card, but I think because that dude is really strong so people won't sell them cheaply.

I am going to put Grimbardun Smith on my watch list. I do not like buying pricy promo cards, but let's be realistic here... A move based on price drop should be interesting, maybe I could snatch one or two bcx of this in future.
